ACP-EU Development Minerals Programme Implemented in partnership with UNDP Programme Partners: Event partners: RETURN TO WORK PLAN (RWP) TEMPLATE Return to work projects are a valuable mechanism for the personal and professional development of each participant. As part of participant sponsorship, you are required to develop a return-to-work plan (RWP) on a project you will undertake on your return, applying the knowledge and skills gained from the workshop to influence change. Please propose a draft Return to Work Plan on the topic of Geological Data Digitization, Field mapping, Resource estimation and Database Management of Development Minerals. The RWP will be refined and discussed as part of the Geo-data and mapping training workshops that you are applying for. Participants may choose to redesign their draft individual plan to achieve a larger objective, such as to produce a geo-data inventory or database of digitized geo-data on Development Minerals in your relevant country. Please clearly explain in your RWP project the specific objectives, how they will be achieved, their relevance to the work of the ACP-EU Development Minerals Programme and demonstrate other strategic opportunities you have identified that will contribute to the success and sustainability of your project. The RWP specific objectives must enable monitoring and results reporting. The objectives should have corresponding verifiable indicators with targets and if possible baselines to the extent possible. For some of the focus countries 1 , the ACP-EU Development Minerals Programme is currently working on priority minerals and pilot sites. Participants from 1 Programme focus countries include: Cameroon; Guinea; Uganda; Zambia; Jamaica; and Fiji

For some of the focus countries1, the ACP-EU Development Minerals Programme is currently working on priority minerals and pilot sites. Participants from these countries are encouraged to focus their RWP specific objectives on those minerals and sites.Note that this RWP project is compulsory, and we strongly urge the applicant to discuss it in detail with his/her employer. RWP’s that do not have employer’s support will not be considered. The duration of the RWP should be no more than six months. 1 Programme focus countries include: Cameroon; Guinea; Uganda; Zambia; Jamaica; and Fiji Return to Work Plans have to be submitted two weeks after the end of a Training Workshop The First Progress Report of the RWP has to be submitted two months after the end of a Training Workshop The Second Progress Report of the RWP has to be Submitted six months after the
