Immediate adaptation
Every RX Trem lens is designed to take account of the physiological features specific to each wearer. Incorporation of a compensating prism in the surface finish, together with the wide field of vision provided by the lens design, ensures that the wearer adapts to our equipment almost immediately. All RX Trem frames are covered by a one-month adaptation guarantee.

Most PC or NXT plano lenses are now available in an RX Trem version. Wearers of prescription eyewear have access to customized and ultra high-performance solutions adapted to their sporting activity.

Shamir technology dedicated to prescription sunglassesIn order to develop the RX Trem program, Julbo is using the vast experience of the Shamir laboratory.Shamir invented the "Free Form TM" surface finishing technique. The company's new automated plant in Porto, Portugal with its rigorous and proven processes guarantees the highest quality of service.
Prescriptor Prescriptor TM is the Free Form TM software patented by Shamir. Prescriptor TM optimizes the geometry of the lens and its
geometric parameters using data specific to the wearer (prescription and frame selected).
The computer file generated by Prescriptor TM defines the surface of the lens. Each lens is unique.

A made-to-measure serviceThe surface of each lens is finished using measurements taken from the wearer (4 instead of the normal 2): pupillary distance, lens depth (+ pantoscopic tilt and lens-eye distance for progressive lenses).

3. RX TREM LENSES
For its RX Trem program, Julbo has chosen the two best lens materials for sport and sun protection. NXT® or polycarbonate to offer everyone the solution most appropriate to their sporting discipline, environment and refraction.
Julbo NXT® lenses are ultra-light, unbreakable and of excellent optical quality (ABBE number –45). Every photochromic or photochromic and polarizing lens is adapted to specific activities or environments.
Photochromic: protection category 2 to 4. Fast activation speed: from 22 to 28 s. Brown tint: accentuates relief.
This photochromic lens, developed for the Speed range, is ideal for mountain biking, trail running and climbing.
FROM SHADE TO LIGHT
Photochromic: protection category 1 to 3. Fast activation speed Brown: accentuates relief.
This photochromic and anti-fog lens, developed for the Speed range adapts to light levels at any time of day.

PURE ALL-TERRAIN VISION
Photochromic: protection category 2 to 4. NTS technology: the lens gets darker or lighter regardless of the temperature. External hydrophobic coating: makes water run off the lens, improving visibility. Grey: faithful color reproduction.
This photochromic, polarized and water-repellent lens, developed for the Nautic range, is suitable for all water sports.
A CLEAR VIEW TO THE HORIZON IN ALL WEATHERS
Photochromic: protection category 2 to 3. Polarizing: eliminates glare from all reflective surfaces (water, tarmac, glass etc.)
and provides the purest of vision. Anti-reflective coating: reduces eyestrain and eliminates interference glare.. BWS (Behind the Windshield) : the lens will get darker behind a
windshield and is particularly suitable for driving. Copper: accentuates contrasts, more comfortable vision.
This lens, developed for the Travel range, is multipurpose and recommended for driving.

Polarized offers glasses wearers a sunglass solution with a high-quality polarizing filter. The RX Trem program includes frames suitable for all budgets with an extensive corrective range.

4. INSTRUCTIONS
Identification of customer needs: Ask the customer about the different types of use and sporting activities
they want the sunglasses for. Determine their ametropia and degree of correction.
This initial information will allow you to select the frames and lenses availableusing the prescription table or product datasheets from the catalog.
Taking measurements: Check in particular that your customer is comfortable and that the
glasses are correctly adapted to their morphology. Make any necessary adjustments (bridge and temples).
Unifocal lenses and progressive lenses: Pupillary Distance + Depth (Full Pupil) + Pantoscopic Tilt + Lens-Eye Distance.
Default values: Pantoscopic tilt: 9°. Lens-Eye Distance: 13 mm.
