Floor Plan NTS
The seasonal renderings illustrate how the use of the building changes throughout the year. Designed to be utilized in the summer months and closed for the winter, the program of the space adapts to become a simple shelter from the elements during the winter.
Site Plan NTS
Precedent Reformation uses buildings designed by Rem Koolhaus of OMA to create a newly articulated space. Areas of each precedent are extracted and rearranged in a new way, but still maintain the same language of the form. The formation diagram above shows how the original plans were combined and abstracted to create the final plan. The final model uses this plan to create a space which focuses on how the exterior space of the courtyard is being shaped by the surrounding structure.

Building from Within is a study of the human dimension and designing to accommodate the human dimension. Each individual diagram uses two parameters to dictate the final form. Theses individual models were manipulated in a way to create a connected space which has a clear path of progression. The final combined model progresses up from the lower level to the top level. Silhouettes are used to create a narrative throughout the space and guide the viewer within the space.
BUILDING FROM WITHOUT
Building from Without is a study of the facade through manipulation of aperture and material. The project pulled precedent apertures from various buildings of downtown Cincinnati and manipulated the form of these apertures to fit the overall concept. Program was a major concern with the development of the facade. Overall, the project focuses on the new facades and their relation to the existing context of downtown Cincinnati.

STAIR STUDIES
An analysis of a staircase located in TheUniversity of Cincinnati Pavillion, designed by Leers Weinzapfel Associates. The focus is on the reflective relationship between the outer and inner staircases. The interior rendering, the sectional perspective, and the diagram are used to illustrate this connection.
16
Rendering / Diagram Created to illustrate the mirrored staircase split by the exterior wall of the building. In the rendering, completed in Rhino and Photoshop, the wall is broken away to expose the relation of the staircases. The diagram explained the context of the stairs in relation to the building and also in relation to the site surrounding the building.
TAITZ RESIDENCE
20
Client Meeting / Renderings Created in Sketchup, rendered in Vray, and post-processed in Photoshop. Located in Miami, FL, this residence was designed to be elevated off the ground to maximize ocean views. These renderings were created to present the early design concept to the client.
NTS
Rendered Site / Floor Plans Created for the same client presentation as the perspective renderings, these plans were rendered in Photoshop and arranged in InDesign to show materiality.

Floor Plans / Elevations Floor Plans and Elevations drafted in AutoCAD for Miami Beach Design Review Board Submission. Rendering by third party.
