Junior Goalkeeper Training Sessions

This season we have continued our commitment to

develop our goalkeepers across mini and junior

football.

Our keeper training sessions have recently recom-

menced with Luke Hirst from Paul Brown Goalkeeping

doing some excellent sessions. We have two groups

on 8 week courses, one for those aged 11 and under

and the other group for those aged 12+.

Part funded by the club these continue to be enjoyed

by many of our young keepers and you’ll often see

clips of our keepers in training on the Paul Brown

Goalkeeping twitter feed @PaulBrownGK. There are

only a few places left on the current course but it is

likely we will continue these in the New Year.

For more details please contact Andy Judd – 07511

782881

And there’s more Coaching news…..

Adam Powell, one of our first team

players who is a UEFA B coach has

been helping Craig Jennings with the

U14’s Girls. We will also being using

Adam throughout the other age

groups to help at training sessions

and if needed on game day.

We have also set up a Coach Mentoring session with

the FA run by Lee Ashforth - FA Coach Mentor. This

will be run 7-8pm on the 28th of November at Beech

Hill during the U10/U11’s training.

This is an opportunity for all coaches to attend and

observe/listen to gain new ideas in ‘developing and

practising’.

Christmas is Coming….

And that can only mean one thing—the

famous Ryburn United Christmas Draw!

Tickets will be available soon, together

with news of the great prizes which will

be on offer.

It will be drawn at the Ryburn United

Christmas Draw event at Barkisland

Cricket Club on Saturday 16th Decem-

ber 2017.

Everyone is welcome

to come along,

so keep a look out

on social media

over the next few

weeks for more

details.
