S&A Contracting Pty Ltd is a leading provider of quality contract works to the Australian construction industry.We specialise in civil, construction, demolition works and asbestos removal, remeidial / hazardous goods andrelated works, as well as having considerable experience in project management and labour supply. We prideourselves in our unique family-oriented approach, impeccable safety record and excellent standards ofworkmanship.

Government and semi government organisations make up a large proportion of our clients. Examples includeNSW Office of Public Works, Department of Defence (BMS), NSW Department of Education & Training, EnergyAustralia (EA) and Sydney Water.

We hold a Class 1 Demolitionunrestricted licence and possess considerable technicalskills in the entire demolition, asbestos, civil andbuilding spectrum.

At S&A Contracting, Work Health and Safety (WHS) is clear. We base it on a belief that safety is a major

priority for our employees completing the task, those people affected immediately by our work and the

ultimate end-user of any project we undertake. Our commitment is therefore linked to providing the best

practices onsite and the best possible final project.

The objectives of our Safety Policy are:

To make WHS an integral part of every managerial and supervisory position.

Environmental

S&A Contracting is conscious of our role in preservingthe environment. Whilse on site, we adhere to allrelated issues regarding energy and water efficiency.Our Environmental Management System is based onISO 14001-2004 abd is designed to meet therequirements of the relevant Statatory Acts,Regulations and Codes of Practice.

When undertaking any project, we will always seek outthe knowledge to help us understand the impact onthe immediate and great environment. Ourmanagement plan outlines the procedures andpractices to be adopted on projects to achieve this aimand includes the requirements of clients and regulatoryauthorities.

As part of the site induction process, all workers arebriefed on specific environmental issues and protectivemeasures applicable to their project. Full instructionsare given regarding procedures relating toenvironmental accidents and complaints.

All company and subcontractor workers are engagedon a S&A Contracting project are provided with a fulllunderstanding of and their responsibility to complywith the environmental requirements of the project.

Recycling is a major way in which S&A Contracting canensure our operations are maximising our role insustainability. All recyclable materials are taken to theappropriate recyclers and measures have beenimplemented to esnure waste is disposed of correctlyin accordance with WHS legislation and EPA Guidelnes.
