How Can I keep from SingingLed by Sarah Hanna, Music Teacher - Please join in singing from your vehicle or home.
Steve Gromala, Principal
Vs. 1 - My life flows on in endless song;
Above earth’s lamentation.
I hear the real though far-off hymn
That hails a new creation.
Refrain - No storm can shake my inmost calm,
While to that rock I’m clinging.
Since Love is Lord of heaven and earth,
How can I keep from singing?
Vs. 2 - Through all the tumult and the strife;
I hear that music ringing;
It sounds and echoes in my soul;
How can I keep from singing?

Carol Kekula, Faith Leader - Please respond "Lord Hear our Prayer".1. For Pope Francis and all the leaders of our Holy Catholic Church, especially
the sisters, priests and deacons who minister in our GRACE schools. We pray
to the Lord.
2. For Administrators, Teachers and Support Staff of Holy Family Catholic
School who have challenged, cared for and crafted us on our academic
journey. We pray to the Lord.
3. For our families and many others who have sacrificed and worked to see us
arrive at this special moment. We pray to the Lord.
4. Even as we faced the current pandemic challenges and accomplished much,
we know that we are moving into a new chapter with more challenges to
face. May God's grace overcome our anxieties and fears. We pray to the Lord.
5. For the courage to always live as Comets for Christ, recalling our years of
Faith, Knowledge and Friendship at Holy Family Catholic School. We pray to
the Lord.
6. For the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we unfold the next chapters of our
lives, bringing good things to God's kingdom and reflecting the blessings we
find in knowing and loving Jesus. We pray to the Lord.
Vs. 1 - Blessed are the poor in spirit, longing for their Lord,
for God’s coming kingdom shall be theirs.
Blessed are the sorrowing, for they shall be consoled,
and the meek shall come to rule the world.
Refrain - Lead me, Lord, lead me, Lord,
by the light of truth to seek and to find the narrow way.
Be my way; be my truth; be my life, my Lord,
and lead me, Lord, today.
Vs. 2 - Blessed are the merciful, for mercy shall be theirs,
and the pure in heart shall see their God.
Blest are they whose hunger only holiness can fill,
for I say they shall be satisfied.

When the graduates name is called, we kindly ask for him or her to leave his or her
vehicle and walk towards a table at center stage. The graduate's official diploma as well
as any awards will be placed on the table for the graduate to claim. In the event of rain,
the entire vehicle should proceed forward and the diplomas and awards will be handed
to the graduate through an open window.
Harmann Studios will be on hand to take an official photo of the graduate. Due to
COVID-19 restrictions, we ask all parents and family members to remain inside their
vehicles at all times.
Additionally, the 8th Grade Parent Planning Committee has a gift for each graduate and a
lantern will be sent to the heavens in his or her honor.
The entire service and graduation will be broadcast on Facebook Live at
@HolyFamilyGreenBay. Face masks are recommended, but not required for those
attending the service and graduation ceremony.

H I S T O R Y O F H O L Y F A M I L YIn June of 1954, ground was broken on a facility that would house both a church, social hall and school on South Fisk Street. The churchand school was named St. Agnes. It was named after the first parish Bishop Bona said Mass at after being ordained. St. Agnes opened thefollowing year with an enrollment of 450 students, and was staffed by the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity of Manitowoc. Due to thepopularity of the school, a second story was added to the building in 1958. After many years of planning, construction began on a new church for the St. Agnes congregation in 1972. The first Mass was held in thenew St. Agnes on November 3, 1973. As Green Bay's west side continued to grow, a new church was proposed in 1978. The new parishwould be named St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and it opened for it's first Mass on July 10, 1983. Both parishes were strong supporters of Catholic education, and due to their unending support, it was decided to change the name of theschool to that of Holy Family. In 2008, when GRACE (Green Bay Area Catholic Education) was formed, it was decided that Holy Familywould also serve the parish communities of Nativity of our Lord Catholic Church, St. Jude Catholic Church, Annunciation Catholic Church,St. Patrick Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church. In the fall of 2017, Holy Family became one of only seven middle schools in Wisconsin to become an International Baccalaureate School,following the implementation of IB at Notre Dame Academy. In January of 2019, Holy Family adopted a new logo in collaboration with Holy Family School in the Walthamstrow area of London, England. It's pledges Faith, Knowledge and Friendship to the 210+ students and families it serves.
