We invite you to support the 2014-2015 Regional Student Symposiums, which will take place in five key cities this Fall and next Spring. The
symposium will bring together Latino students in business, finance, accounting and other related majors for a day of insight, guidance, leadership
skills and professional development opportunities, which will provide an edge in today’s competitive job market.
The objective of this year’s symposium program is to have students take a proactive approach to defining and plotting their career paths, while
developing flexible skillsets adaptable to various industries. Through a series of interactive sessions, participants will learn how to discover their
potential, find their niche, market themselves, and secure a job offer. The Leadership Panel will focus on “Exploring the Benchmarks of Successful
Careers.” The mentoring roundtables will provide students the opportunity to apply the strategies discussed during the breakout sessions. The
symposium will culminate in a Career Fair in which students can then apply their recently acquired skills.
This is a great opportunity for your company to engage with the next generation of Latino professionals, showcase your company, and build brand
awareness. The symposium will provide ample opportunity to network with high caliber students and discover the faces of tomorrow’s Latino leaders.
An additional component to the symposium is the Student Leaders Networking Reception (to occur the evening prior to or the morning of the
symposium). Sponsors will have direct access to top ALPFA student leaders, representing various universities in the region. This is an excellent
