YOUR SAFESTWAY TO THE TOP

OPERATOR TRAINING

In 1982, Galmon was established to pioneer the use of aerial access hydraulic platforms and systems – a speciality which today is still the mainstay of its expertise.

Growing increasingly to meet the sophisticated demands of clients both in Singapore and abroad, Galmon is the leader in Singapore in this field. We sell, rent and service the widest range of aerial access equipment – from self-propelled booms, scissors, truck-mounted work platforms, telehandlers, aluminium mobile scaffolding to special custom-built lifts.

With the philosophy of providing products and services of superior quality, Galmon is committed to delivering reliable, efficient and safe machinery and excellent customer services to clients of all industries. With equipment safety as top priority, Galmon’s tagline of “YOUR SAFEST WAY TO THE TOP!” is testimonial of our core values.

The right usage of work equipment is the deciding factor between a safe and unsafe workplace environment. Thus Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) operators are required by the government agency to undergo training before they are even allowed to operate the equipment. There must be a joint effort from both the employer and hirer, to ensure the safety and right behaviour from the operator at construction sites.

Your operators may be trained but they should still receive

familiarisation training if they intend to use a specific MEWP

model on site that is significantly different from the ones that

they are trained with.

This training demonstrates all the control functions, safety

devices and special features of the MEWP’s model to an

operator by a Galmon personnel of demonstrator standard.

It follows up with the MEWP operator training and covers

manufacturer’s instructions, warnings and control functions.

Safety devices and emergency lowering systems are located

and checked for operation as well.
