In Sahasrara Spa, this immaculate feeling is elevated into full-body bliss in the hammam, a traditional Moroccan bathing and cleansing ritual. The hammam is more than a day at the spa and usually divided into three steps: Bare it all in an extra-hot steam room to open the pores; get lathered in olive oil–based black soap and scrubbed with the traditional kessa glove to remove dead skin; and finally get

immersed in COLD water by bath (or bucket!) for an invigorating finish. The result? Silky-smooth skin and a refreshed feeling.

60/90 mins - A deeper muscle and connective tissue manipulation with a focus on unravelling tension in tighter bound up mus-cles and improving overall range of motion. Highly recommended for a release of the underlying muscular tissue or for a sports specific massage.

TRADITIONAL TURKISH HAMMAM

60 mins - This authentic cleansing Hammam treatment is done in the traditional Turkish style. After heating the body in the Hammam steam chamber, a Kessa mitt and hand-crafted Olive and Laurel soap are used to bring about a vigorous exfoliation and soap mas-sage cleansing. Your newly re-energized skin is then nourished with a herbal infused oil to further encourage health and healing. This

Hammam treatment includes a shampoo and condition of the hair with organic marine-based hair products.

SPA ETIQUETTE AND POLICIESARRIVALS

Treatments are carefully planned to accommodate each and every client. In the spirit of mutual respect, we kindly request that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment in order to experience our heat facilities and enjoy your full treatment time. Late arrivals will be finished within the scheduled treat-ment time while the fee will remain unchanged.

SPA AMENITIES

On arrival you will be supplied with a bathrobe, sandals and a locker for your personal belongings. Towels are offered throughout the spa and disposable underwear is available for all body treatments. Facilities include separate men’s and women’s locker rooms with relaxation area and vanities stocked with a variety of toiletries.

ETIQUETTE

Our spa environment is one of tranquillity and relaxation. In consideration of other spa guests, we ask that you speak in a quiet voice and switch off mobile phones and pagers. If using headphones, please make sure the volume level is not audible to other guests. The spa is a

non-smoking zone.

HEALTH

Please refrain from shaving before all body treatments and men’s facials. To maximize de benefits of your spa experience, please inform us of any health issues, allergies or injuries that may make the treatment you have chosen unsuitable so that we may advise safer alternatives.

CHILDREN

Spa and fitness area are reserved for guests 16 years or older. Children are allowed in the spa by appointment only and must be accompanied by an adult during their visit.

CANCELLATIONS

Please allow at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation to avoid being charged in full. If we can re-book your appointment time with another guest, the cancellation fee will be waived. If you are travelling by air, we suggest you schedule appointments at least sic hours after you are scheduled to arrive in case of flight delays. No shows are charged at the full treatment rate.

LOSS OR DAMAGE

We regret that we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage to personal items and valuables during your visit. Please refrain from wearing jewellery or valuables to the spa.
