Midtown go to MOMA - appetizers only. Near Bryant Park go to The Shop at Andaz in Midtown East, El Rey Coffee Bar & Luncheonette in Nolita, or Marta in Murray Hill.

Edie & the Wolf in the East Village, Minetta Tavern in the Village, Roberta’s in Bushwick, The Spotted Pig in the West Village.

A ROMANTIC NIGHT OUT:

Eleven Madison Park, Le Bernadin in Midtown, or ilili in Nomad.

BEST SPOT FOR COCKTAILS:

The Surrey Private Roof Garden on Upper East Side, Henry’s Bar at Hudson Hotel and drink under a huge canvas of Francesco Clemente, Employees Only in West Village, Little Branch in West Village, or Death & Company and PDT in East Village.

BEST SWEET TREAT:

Ice Cream at Morgensteins in Nolita!

BEST SPOT FOR PEOPLE WATCHING:

Loews Regency’s Lobby of course and then you name it – Central Park, Highline, any Daniel Bolud restaurant, Bryant Park during Fashion week, Chelsea during Armory Art week, Madison Avenue between 70th and 80th almost any time.

BEST COFFEE AND/OR BAGEL:

Sant Ambroeus of course and if you must stray……try Toby’s Estate or Stumptown.

Contemporary – Miguel Abreu, Cheim & Read, Christies Auctions, Gavin Brown, Gagosian Chelsea and Upper East, Carolina Nitsch, PACE, Pavel Zoubok, Paul Kasmin, David Zwirner – go to Chelsea and walk up and down starting about W20th up to W27th.

WALK. Try to find a Yoga class. Go to Dia Beacon if I have time or at least think about going!

A PERFECT AFTERNOON IN NYC?

Walk in Central Park if I have brought the dog, or long walk up from my office (31st and 5th) to Upper Eastside shops. Visit one

museum (usually MOMA) just to see a few of your favorites and then have lunch. Go to Chelsea and go in no more than four galleries so you can really take it in.

Depends on where you are when the hour starts! SoHo – Pucci, Chelsea – The Art Galleries, Midtown – MOMA, The Whitney Museum of American Art

WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO WORK OUT/BEST GYM OR FITNESS CLASS?

Hotel with a good gym is a must and they recommend yoga places nearby. In Montauk I love Yoga or to paddle board on the lake!

FAVORITE NEIGHBORHOOD TO

EXPLORE?

I must say I like so many – lately I have been exploring Upper West as I have clients there – it is a little harder as it is more spread out, but fun – I like the glimpses of the Hudson. Upper East is still fun for me and I have clients up there too, so always looking closely at the details of the brownstones. Still like SoHo and Chelsea. If on an art search – I like the Bushwick Artist Studios! Still like The Bowery and Redhook. I also like Orchard Street and the little galleries and tiny food spots in the area.

WHAT’S YOUR NEXT NYC ADVENTURE?

I really want to take a week off and walk it going in and out of places I have never entered - not just furniture and lighting, but notions places, button shops, junk shops, restaurants. It is way too much to do in one week, so I’ll have to map my path and imagine it will take four weeks spread out over a year or two!
