NewYearsFest.com Facebook & Twitter: New Year’s Fest
New Year’s Fest is a performing arts festival that brings the community together to celebrate the power of cultural arts and the sheer fun of being together on New Year’s Eve in the heart of our community. It’s really easy to participate. The performances are scheduled on a rotating basis with acts repeated throughout the night (typically lasting 30 or 45 minutes). Use the grid to plan out your schedule, circle your choices and also make a note of performances that might be your first and second choices. Since this is a volunteer-driven event, please take a minute to thank the nearly 500 volunteers it takes to host New Year’s Fest. And, make sure to show them your button when you enter their performance sites.
Our Bronson Park churches, the Kalamazoo Public Library, Epic Center, and The Radisson are pleased to open their doors to New Year’s Fest and the community as a way to support our performing arts and community celebration. As a guest, please respect these facilities. Many businesses, individuals, and foundations provide the financial support to cover nearly 80% of the cost for hosting this event. This fabulous support makes it possible to provide a general admission button for only $5 (advanced sales). So, enjoy. And, if you would like to make a donation, please stop by the Information Tent in Bronson Park.
New Year’s Fest is an independent 501c(3) organization, run by the Board of Directors. These dedicated volunteers work throughout the year to plan and raise the money needed to support this event. The 2013 New Year’s Fest Board of Directors are: Larry Potter, Dave Overton, Brenda Keelan, Steve Ellis, Betsy Start, Chris Shook, Sid Ellis, Kayla Kiley, and Dan Bunker.

FAst-PAss ProgrAMA FAST-PASS ticket will be distributed in the event that a performance is sold-out. Attendees with FAST-PASS tickets
will receive priority entrance into the next time slot. FAST-PASS tickets are only valid for the specific time and performer listed on the pass.
FAST-PASS users will be asked to return to the venue no later than 10 minutes before show time. The FAST-PASS ticket still requires an admission button, and all seating is open on a first-come, first-served basis.
This program is intended for our sites that have limited seating. The intent is to allow New Year’s Fest participants the opportunity to see more shows and enjoy the diversity of performers and entertainers.
