The 1087 die-set provides new versati l i ty to crimping operations. Coupled with a crimp machine, the die-set consistently produces crimped hose and tube assemblies to original equipment manufacturer (O.E.M.) specifications.

Die Sets can be custom made in four, six and eight segment crimp styles. Each style crimps to specific tolerances without ope ra to r ad jus tmen ts . I n addition, the open design easily accommodates assemblies with varying tube configurations and end-fittings that do not lend themselves to conventional crimping equipment. You can specify the die-sets in front or side loading models.

Single or double crimp die-set configurations are available for short assemblies that fit within the die-sets. A double crimp die-set can crimp both ends of an assembly, or two ends from two separate assemblies, with each machine cycle.

This reduces operator loading and unloading time. Moreover, the double die-set method provides better quality assurance that part orientation is correct before crimping.

The durable die-set is precision made with hardened tool steel to assure long life and trouble free operation. Changing die-sets from one set up to another can take five minutes or less.

crimp specifications print, ferrule, hose and tube endform prints along with un-crimped part samples for die-set tune in.

• Double die-sets can provide optimal production for processing assemblies that can take advantage of crimping two ends with each cycle.

• Replacement crimp jaws are made to your specifications. The jaws are precision made with hardened tool steel. Die Sets can be Titanium Nitrite (T.I.N.) coated for additional durability.
