HOCKEY.

On febru.cv 7th, 1910, • meeting, attended by a large propurtian u/ tlle school, was held 10 Trmlty School= m liJ di;,:tJSSc ,be fonruuion of a Hockey Club. Hockey had b<len ~ m ymiru,rconsodeiation ln the school for the past two yeaNJ @d rew ku,w of the c~isteocc of the Club. At the suggesuon of some: of 1h; senior girls· it was decoded to re· form the Jloc~ey Club. The suggestion was eagerly Liken up and Wss John, M"" L~ndon, and Miss Holmes rc.1dily prrimised ro as,;o~t lo Ille project. Miss John presided al tile meelulg, ruul suCCC$1 10 the Club wa.s fairly assured.

I I was resolved to rejuvena1e the Hockey 1eaq,, and twelve Captams 11~ro appointed, one or whom was to be pr<!Seot each week to supervise. A committee was formed, an~ au entra.nC8 foe 6xed ; officers w,,re appoin~d, and it was dt:t,dc-d to hold l'filC~ce.5 01·ery Satutday afternoon at 2.30 p.m., weather pe.rnuttmg.

On the 12tlt, the fi rst practice was beld, and, v.nnderful to ntlal!:, everyone was present and was punctna.l. This pun~luality_ augurs we11 forthe IUture of the team and we hope Jt w1U conunue. Tbe ~ame was well played: the smaller girls espe,;ially showing plenty of pluck and de1ernunatioa in •~ ling the ball.

O~ the 19th and 26th, practice games were again beld, all pl~ym~ exceedingly_ MII. At each practice, Miss John and Miss Landon, or Moss Holmes have been pres.nt.
