S3 Alison Cho

This trip has given me lots of new experience. We went to Cambridge and saw many people punting. I am so

delighted to have my lunch by the riverside. The environment in England is something that I find most enjoyable.

There are the famous colleges such as St. John’s College and King’s College. They are magnificent and beautiful. I had

done some research on these colleges which makes me know more about their history and meaning behind. We also

had a dance workshop and we were taught how to perform ‘One Short Day’ from Wicked the famous musical. We

practiced very hard because we will have the chance to perform in a theatre for the farewell ceremony of this trip.

Although I was really exhausted after practicing for countless times, it’s really enjoyable to do so with my friends.

Finally I came across the highlight of this week, Wicked. The musical is really fascinating as the actors performed very

well and the songs are really amazing. The sound and notes are still lingering in my mind. The storyline is also nice

and unforgettable.

It has been an amusing and enjoyable but exhausting week! This week we've had loads of excursions to

learn more about the culture, environment and history of England. We've been to the Cambridge and

visited a lot of universities and churches. The design and history of them have attracted me to the culture

and environment of England. Visiting the enormous British Museum, seeing the exhibit from all around the

world really broaden our horizons. Moreover, we've watched the fascinating musical Wicked and started

to prepare our farewell performance with the songs from it. Along with some scenes from Romeo and

Juliet, a romantic tragedy we've learned about. In conclude this week is a really fruitful week and we've

learned a lot of things and gained a lot of memorable experiences that we'll never forget for the rest of our

lives. Looking forward to the next following week!
