Activities at a Glance BAISAKHI CELEBRATION The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated by the students with great fervour and joy on 12th April ‘16. A beautiful assembly was presented by Grade 8 students who depicted the history and importance of this festival through a dance performance and role play. Ananda 2 students got an opportunity to experience the rich culture of Punjab through the craft of ‘Pottery activity’. Activities at a Glance

BAISAKHI CELEBRATION The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated by the students with great fervour and joy

on 12th April ‘16. A beautiful assembly was presented by Grade 8 students who depicted the history and importance of this festival through a dance performance and role play. Ananda 2 students got an opportunity to experience the rich culture of Punjab through the craft of ‘Pottery activity’. The students got an opportunity to make earthen pots under the guidance of the Potters.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY-GRADE 2(HIBISCUS)

An intellectual assembly on the theme of ‘Space ‘was presented by Grade 2 Hibiscus students. The students actively presented a very informative assembly bringing forth some interesting facts related to Space and scientific inventions. They succeeded in their motive of sharing factual knowledge related to Space and Science.

TALENT HUNT DANCE COMPETITION –GRADE 1

In order to explore the talent and potentiality of our budding artists a Talent Hunt Dance Competition was organized on 25th April ’16. The participants confidently danced on the beats of their favorite Bollywood tracks. The students beautified their performances through their beautiful expressions and dance moves.The students lighted up the atmosphere through their electrifying performances and made the audience cheerful and lively. Their performances were highly appreciated by the judges.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY GRADE 2 ( PETUNIA) A special assembly on the topic Cleanliness was presented by Grade 2 Petunia students on 27th April ’16. The students enumerated the importance of cleanliness and hygiene and also highlighted certain astonishing facts related to cleanliness. They also performed an action song conveying the message of saving Mother Earth from pollution and other harmful elements.

FIELD TRIP ( GRADE 1 & 2)

In order to bring the students more close to the rich Punjabi culture and tradition, the students of Grade 1 and 2 were taken for a Field trip to P.A.U Museum on 28th and 29th April’16. The Museum depicted the Ancient Punjabi tradition, culture and lifestyle of the ancient people .The students got an opportunity to know about the various aspects of the Punjabi culture in detail and had a great learning experience.
