Flow Test Request Conditions for MFS Flow Test:
• Once this request has been received, the MFS Water Officer will contact you to make an appointment. • Prior to a commissioning/extension test, this Department requires a copy of the ‘Fire Service Installation
Report and Plumbing Certificate of Compliance’ as witnessed by the Office of the Technical Regulator (OTR) and sent by the OTR to this department.
• The flow test request, block plans and all documents from the OTR must be received at least 3 working days prior to the test date to confirm your booking.
• Due to MFS work, health & safety policies, the MFS will not proceed with the hydraulic test if, upon inspection the site is deemed to be a construction site (i.e. building not completed, contractors are required to wear PPE, scaffolding/temporary fencing present, unsealed roadways/carparks) unless there are exceptional circumstances confirmed and agreed to prior.
• If it is determined, that the site is unfit for testing, the test will be cancelled and will need to be rescheduled by the contractor in liaison with the MFS Water Officer.
