Sacos Student Travel Insurance Plan

The Sacos Student Travel Insurance Plan covers:

> Emergency Medical Evacuation In the event of an accident or sudden illness, that is not pre-existing and which is acute, we will take charge of transferring you to a properly equipped health center.

> Emergency Return Home following death of a family If a close family member passes away, we will arrange a return trip to Seychelles.

> Medical Expenses and Hospitalisation abroad, including emergency dental care: Covers the costs of your hospitalization, surgery, medical fees and pharmaceutical products.

> Travel of one immediate family member: If you are hospitalized for more than five days as a result of an accident or illness, we will arrange for an immediate family member from Seychelles to be with you, covering the cost of the return travel and accommodation expenses up to a limit provided by the referred plan.

> Personal Accident Cover: A benefit will be paid for loss of life or serious disability due to an accident when travelling in public transport.

> Lost of Passport, ID card and driving licence: We will help you get a replacement if you lose those important documents.

> Loss and delay of checked-in baggage: In the event of a loss or delay in your luggage, we will supplement the compensation for which the carrier is liable up to a limit provided by your selected Plan (money, debit cards and jewelries are excluded).

Who can take this plan and what are the different Plans available?

> Personal Civil Liability cover: We will pay for compensation for involuntary bodily or material damage caused by you to a third party and meet the cost of defense that arise.*

> Anyone who is going for overseas studies between 3 and 12 months can take one of the two plans below

How do I apply for assistance?

When calling you should provide the following info:

You should read the terms and conditions for all exclusions, below are only the main ones

> This policy is to protect you when the unexpected happen and medical claims are based on what is necessary and reasonable. Preventative treatments such as health screening and health checks are not covered.

> Passport or Identity card number.

Whenever any of the above events occurs, you or any person acting on your behalf should, in the shortest possible time, call the Alarm Centre, which is available 24h/24 7d/7, on the following numbers.

> We will not cover any medical conditions which were already present when you bought your policy and cover under this policy will not be available if you travel against medical advice.

> Policy number.> Full name of the injured and the principal insured.

> You must act responsibly and report any crime against you to the police within 24 hours. We will not cover irresponsible actions nor illegal activities or things which occurred where drugs or alcohol were involved.

How do I sign on to a travel student insurance plan?

> Anyone who is going for overseas studies between 3 and 12 months can take one of the two plans below

> For studies above 12 months, the first 12-month policy has to renewed prior to it's expiry date. This can be done either in Seychelles or from overseas.
