Recruitment Officer
Creates and maintains a database of teachers in the county of the affiliate. Uses this data-base for recruitment purposes
Follows a recruitment protocol that is established by the affiliate Creates/acquires recruitment tools that assist with the recruitment
process (reports, videos, Power Points, etc.) Visits school sites and shares benefits of membership Attends department meetings and share affiliates programs and events Identifies local BTSA coordinator and shares affiliates programs that
are appropriate for beginning teachers. Visits local Teacher credentialing programs and invites teacher
candidates to attend affiliate’s programs and events. Knows about current issues concerning WL at local, state, and federal
level Displays excellent interpersonal and communication skills that are
essential to recruit and engage others in our profession.
