Sacred Heart Catholic Church Sunday of Divine Mercy ~ April 19, 2020

Reflections from the Stewardship Office

After the resurrection of Jesus, the disciples and

newly converted Christians formed small

communities and lived as Jesus taught. As

Missionary Disciples in the world today, we can

look to them as examples. We, too, are called the

live the “communal life,” sharing with one

another, breaking bread together, and meeting

together in worship. On this Divine Mercy

Sunday, as many people are confined to their

homes, let’s consider ways we can still live a

“communal life.” What are some tangible ways we

can do this right now? Can you share non-

perishable food items with someone in need? Can

you use technology to pray with someone?

Remember, you have been Empowered by the

Holy Spirit, in all situations, to act as a disciple. Be creative and be intentional

as you do so!
