Principals CornerDear Parents,LentRites and rituals are among the gifts that make our Catholic faith very rich and meaningful. Years afterchildren have grown and moved out of the house, they recall the times that their family prayed together. They remember going to Sunday Mass with the entire family. As parents, you have a wonderful opportunityand responsibility to influence and strength your childs practice of the faith.
Family observance of the holy season of Lent is a perfect opportunity to teach your children the importanceof faith in their lives. Consider saying the rosary together during Lent. Or, you may decide to pray theStations of the Cross with the entire family. Maybe you will talk with your children about what you can doduring Lent to prepare for the glorious season of Easter.
Children are constantly watching and learning from the adults in their lives. The practice of your faith is avisible sign to your children of your love for God and all of the gifts you have been given. If children aresurrounded by people who try to live out their faith on a daily basis, they will be inspired to do the same. The
power of example is strong. One of the greatest gifts you can give your children is to model a faith-filled andhope-filled Christian life. What greater gift could you give?
New Car Rider Procedure beginning Tuesday, February 19The safety of our students is always our main concern and we are happy when parents bring things to ourattention. The car pick up at the end of the day is chaotic. Now that we have our new gathering space, we will utilize it.
Beginning TODAY - New Procedure:The students will wait for their car ride INSIDE the main gathering space doors with the teachers on duty.Parents will PARK in a parking spot and walk up to the main doorway. When the teachers see the pick upperson, your child will be released to you, to safely walk to your vehicle.
We believe this system will provide a safe way for our students to get home.
God Bless Our Children!
