    Feed My Starving Children / non-uniform sale results

    Our students and volunteers were very busy on Friday. They packed 129 boxes of food valued at $12,200, which feeds 55,728

    children. In addition, our collection for the non-uniform sale netted $350 and was enough to feed one family for a year. Good

    Job students!

    $900,000!!!!That is how much money was raised by Catholic Schools through the Catholic United Financial Raffle in 2013.That is a very exciting number for all schools that were involved in the raffle this year. Sacred Heart Catholic!School raised $15,85of that grand total! Yay Us!!We had an assembly last Thursday to award our top sellers and for a random drawing of gift cards given to us by Catholic United

    Financial. Below is a list of our winners -!Top Sellers:

    Fundraising-

    Just a reminder that every family is responsible to fundraise $225 per student. We try to provide different fundraisers to fit your

    familys needs. The following two fundraisers are optional for your family.

    1 - Magazine Sale

    Many of you were wondering if the students would be selling magazines this year since you had magazines to renew.

    Our Kick-off assembly is Wednesday, April 3rd. We are encouraging online ordering if at all possible. Information will be sent

    home with your child on April 3rd and students will be able to start selling.

    Have a case of Spring Fever?

    !2 - Our Annual Spring Plant Sale will be starting March 20th thru April 3rd. Last year we changed the source of our plants!tGerten's Nursery,!and our plants were AMAZING!!!!We have a wide variety of hanging baskets, flats and 4.5 in pots.! Best of all,they will be here just in time for Mother's Day!! Delivery date is Friday, May10th.!!Who will be selling? Our 7th graders to fund their trip to Wolf Ridge and any other student that would like to take orders forMothers Day.

    Tuition scholarshipsApplications are due May 1st.

    All families seeking a financial scholarship must apply online at www.tuitionaid.com. All information must be turned in for theapplication to be considered. A processing fee is due at time of the application. Parents must apply every year.

    Summer Kids Club-Information regarding our summer program will be available this week. We are open June 10-August 23rd

    Daily rate of $30.00/day. Full and part time available.

    -Family Fun Night and Live Art Auction-Get a pen and get this date on your calendars! Saturday, April 13 beginning at 6:00 p.m.! That is the date of this year

    Family Fun Night and Live Art Auction. Those of you who were here last year will remember the great time that was had by

    all when we!combined a yummy dinner, free fun and games and our now FAMOUS Live Art Auction! If you haven't hearfrom them yet, be sure to watch for emails from your childs teacher regarding class art projects that we will be auctioning off

    that evening. Teachers will need donations (many items may just be laying around your house!) or volunteers to help them

    complete the class project. Our teachers have come up with some really unique, fun and beautiful art projects. You won't wan

    to miss out! We will keep you posted on all of the amazing artwork as it starts to come in!!
