Sacred Heart NewsPrincipals CornerDear Parents, TONIGHT Treat your family to dinner tonight at Buffalo Wild Wings in Crystal Time: 3:00-9:00 pm Funds: SHCS earns 10% of all sales Bring the attached ticket PLEASE SAVE ANY BOXES FOR THE SCHOOL. We will soon announce the date for the ground breaking of our new addition. With that being said, some areas of the school must be packed up to move to a different area or clear the area for construction activity. Three areas that must be totally packed in boxes and moved are the Kindergarten room, Spanish/art room, and the computer lab. A few other areas also need some additional help. We are in need of parent volunteers on June 4-8 to help teachers. Please email the school ofce on the day and time you are available. Changes in hot lunch for 2012-2013 Robbinsdale School District informed us that next year they will no longer provide hot lunch for Sacred Heart Catholic School or any other non-public school. So we have been busy interviewing caterers to help provide affordable nutritious, healthy lunches for our students. We will announce our new caterer very soon. Next year our lunch will be served right from our lunchroom and students will not have to travel to the activities building. This will provide a more efcient lunch program for us. The only drawback will be our students will have to pre-order the lunches ahead of time versus ordering that morning. The caterers need to purchase food ahead of time and deliver to the school. We will do everything we can to make this transition easy for parents and students. More details in May, and then again in August. Last chance to apply for a tuition scholarship Due May 1st All families seeking a nancial scholarship must apply on-line at www.tuitionaid.com. All information required must be turned in for the application to be considered. A processing fee is due at the time of the application. Summer uniform begins today! Your child may wear uniform shorts any day of the week except on Wednesday due to mass. This year, spirit wear T-shirts are only allowed on Fridays. We will make some exceptions on certain days at the end of the year. Our uniform policy is located on our school web page located under the School Information tab. Gerten Plant Sale Thank you to the many families that purchased Gerten plants.
