The Precept of A SantSant Radhasoami Sahib

Oh brothers! Now you have got this human body. Do satsang1 at least any of you. You have got this hard-to-find human body. You will not get such propitious opportunity again. The wife, the son, the property, the land and the praise are transient pleasures which will take you towards the mother of the pain i.e. the cycle of birth and death. Protect yourselves from such temptations and go and sit in the shelter of true master and his true companionship. The worldly game of relationship is false like dream of the night. I have awakened you from this unwitting sleep by making you understand this truth. This body and the illusionary web joined to it, are false. As your mind is falling into allurement of such temptations, it will go in vain. The Satsang and the true master are allies of the true-form supreme soul so they are truth. Internal quintessence sound (The sound from the beginning) has emerged from the true-form supreme soul only so what to describe

about its truthfulness? Saint radhasoami says: oh my love! Obey my words so that your cycle of birth and death will end. Go up in the inner sky by practice and get absorbed in the quintessential inner sound. I am making you understand.(English translation of the hindi interpretation interpreted by: Swami Ashutosh Gurusnehi)1 - Satsang means companionship with truth. Its of two types 1) Outer Satsang 2) Inner Satsang. Outer satsang means companionship with your true master and true saints to discuss about : inner divine path and ways to traverse it, what to do and what not to do about its practice. Inner satsang means blending of your soul with the supreme-soul beyond all the natural and supernatural realms in the inner sky and feel the oneness with God.

Always RememberThe water when excludes off the river, cankers. Same way if you will be distracted from the contemplation of God then your conscience will be cankered with pains and concerns. Fruits which tolerate the storm, beak of birds, stones of children etc. and remain intact with branch, they become juicy and sweet. But the fruit which gets off from branches turns sour and waste. Same way if your mind will be contemplating the God without being bewildered from the obstacles and barriers then that will be filled with the juice of supreme bliss. But if you will quit contemplating the God then you will be worthless like fruits detached from their branches.

The God founded the yogaParam Sant Baba Devi Sahib

Only viewing the great people doesnt bring welfare in any one, It is needed to listen to their words, contemplate on those words, and practice those sayings. That means, do listen to great peoples words with veneration, think on them and live accordingly, then it will work. Everyones living depends on family holders; therefore character of you sadhu people should be very beautiful. The family holder who collects money from sin, he not only ruins his life but also unsanctifies others mindsets by feeding them the cereals earned from his corrupted livelihood because , i.e. food affects the mindset, so do not fall in greed and always control your mind. Lying, Stealing, Intoxications, and adultery, these are five great sins. Leave those habits. Do some charity as per your qualifications and put your mind in satsang i.e., true companionship. Take initiation from any good mahatma, sit in solitude for sometimes and meditate inside your conscience. The Sex, the anger, the greed, the fascination and the ego; are enemies to human beings, beware of them. There are two types of dharma in the world. They are first udhaar and second nakad. Udhaar dharma is that in which its believed to attain salvation after death and nakad dharma is that in which the state of salvation is believed to have experienced in the lifetime itself. People keep thinking on borrow dharma. Some are involved in rituals and outward devotions while some are pretending to have been divine themselves. They are unaware of the natural screens of DARKNESS, LIGHTS and WORDS between jeev (souls inside living which detached from divine by five different physical bodies one inside the other ) and brahm (the divine) and that they are such screens which cant be destroyed by mere reading some mantras or performing yagna and doing outward devotions. For them to have destroyed you will surely have to be inside oriented and perform dristi1 2 saadhan and shabd-saadhan which will be accounted for your consciousness to travel along the solitary inner path and cross the natural and supra-natural realms to reach to such an auspicious place from where your soul wouldnt be detached again to return back in the outer world. But no one can really know and practice these processes by just reading authentic scriptures. People who practices them after having heard or having read about those processes, either looses their eye-sights or get their brains disordered. Therefore do practices only after taking initiation from any enlightened saint. Along with this, outer satsang is also needed which lessens the heart-polluting diseases such as Sex, Anger, Greed, Fascination, and Ego etc. and also increments the purity in heart. Yog is said neither to any special scripture nor its the name of any particular religion or belief. Rather its the name of a wisdom by which we realize about inner mysteries and godly mysteries. This wisdom is present in all the beliefs and scriptures of the earth in their own sequence and types, because, to the residents of all the countries, it seemed necessary to know about

the existence of some power higher than human beings. Therefore to fulfill their need the almighty God enlightened in their hearts with this knowledge of this sanctified wisdom so that they could know about the God and the way to find the God. So far they could know, they had published that knowledge in their scriptures. In fact, yoga is the name of combination of two things. Rules of yoga had been established before the origin of world because as long as one had not made the rules to combine two objects, until then, neither any substance was made itself, nor met each other and not until then that the world was born. Therefore to that controller who established these rules, we call the God and to that wisdom we call godly wisdom; because He only made it and he only is the founder and governor of it. The God is indestructible and infinite and so also his wisdom. Its not possible to finite them in one, two of four books; but there is an infinite book for it which exists beyond this world. One, who goes there, reads that, otherwise total people remain deprived of this knowledge. The God is the founder of yoga and it had made before the origin of world, this is not any surprising statement because the knowledge of its founder and its dignity is not found in any book which could tell that who is the founder and governor of this 3 wisdom? All sages, saints , Yogi, Yogishwar, incarnations, Arhat , whose names are lighted like sun, all praised this wisdom saying that no other way could be better than this but no one said that he founded this wisdom. So this proves that founder of yoga is God himself and every people irrespective of their caste, creed and sects have right of knowledge related to yoga and conduct. This is the only class in the world in which all rich, poor, king, servant can equally admitted and share this fatherly property equally. In the ancient time also this was the only door available through which the people who were said to belong to lower class, were also became sages, saints, Yogi, Yogishwar and Arhat. Rajyog is said to be SELF-RELATED because this yoga process fixes your soul to such a goal that it removes those materials from the self which accounts for its bondage in the cycle of births and deaths. And thus that soul (your own self) being uncovered from those materials gets sanctified and reaches up to the real centre. Against it, the methods which are there in hathyog and other worship processes are all NATURE-RELATED. By these practices and worships the individual soul remains bonded in the cycle of births and deaths and thus born again and again to have pains and pleasures. Human body is a brief layout of the entire world. Its divided into two: 1) Pind (i.e. trunk) 2) Brahmaand (i.e. head). Inside the pind there are heart and lungs which makes stable our visible body and remain active in their jobs. In head zone there are two types of matters: gray matter and white matter, which are made up of miniature waves and on them all the senses work. Besides there are four more screens also, which have no relation to flesh, blood and brain etc. Some out of them are related to voluminous body and some are related to subtle body. By knowing their names you will come to know about those screens with their natures. First screen of darkness can be known by closing your eyes. Second screen of light can be known by crossing the darkness. Third screen of words can be known by listening to them. Fourth screen is not as such but that is a mystery which cant be understood like first, second and third. It can be experienced only by perfect practice. Total places of four screens which relates to nature, soul and supreme soul belong to all Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist etc. They interprets them according as their own numbers and interpretations. According to santmat, having crossed these places we achieve the final goal called Mukti (i.e. salvation). To attain salvation santmat doesnt follow too many methods but two methods: 1) Drishti Marg (i.e. path by means of sight) 2) Shabd Marg (i.e. Path of sound). Unlike other worship methods popular in religions and sects with different names, these two methods are not man-made. God himself is the founder and operator of these methods. Since the beginning God has kept these two methods inside human beings with full qualifications. The way of redemption of jeev (i.e. bonded soul) is available inside all human beings. Unless the jeev walks along this way, it cant achieve salvation; the real outcome of religion. No matter how good the religious scholars are, that they can understand the God or Gods spoken of , they cant be able to understand the essence and the veracity of the religious scriptures of their own religion or other religions or cults unless the jeev inside them would walk along the said inner way of redemption. To such scholars, religions or cults are either games or shows or these are nice set of principles to spread the riot in the world and deceive the nave and simple people, because the veracity of each and every religious principle can be tested, and the God has

put the meter or equipment to test them equally inside every jeev i.e. Equally inside all poor, rich, pandit (i.e. a hindu scholar), maulwi (i.e. an Islamic scholar), priest, knowledgeable, ignorant, sinful, pious, and from Brahman (i.e. an upper class hindu), Shaiyad (i.e. an upper class muslim), to bhangi-chamaar-kasaai (i.e. lower class hindus in existing caste system). Unless a person tests and know the glory of his religious principle by the standard given inside him, how come he can know the veracity and glory of other religions?

Subduing the SensesInspiring IncidenceSwami Ramteerth was previously a professor in Lahour and then his name was Teerathram. Once when he was on his way from collage to home, he saw a person selling lemon yellowish and quite bigger in sizes. The saliva filled in his mouth seeing that. His tongue asked buy it, whats the problem? Teerathram thought a moment that should he really buy everything which he likes or looks good to him? He stepped ahead but the tongue spoke again . Those lemons were looking good, what was the loss to buy them? Your mind will be filled with pleasure once you will eat them. Teerathram quickly returned, touched lemons, all were juicy. Suddenly started thinking who will say why this tongue is after him? Why would I obey it? And he stepped ahead. But did that tongue was there to be defeated? That incited again -- so weird person you are! When you found those lemons juicy then was there any sin if you would have had that taste? You should have bought one. And then he stepped back. That sales person was also shocked that this gentleman was so bizarre! He comes and goes; again comes, again goes. He said boss! Take if you want, why are you coming and going again and again? And this time he finally made to buy two lemons. As soon as he came home he asked his wife for a knife. He cut a lemon and as soon as he took a piece near his mouth to suck, he heard a voice from inside saying wow Teerathram! You have to believe, you also became slave of this tongue. He is ordering you and you keep obeying it. Hey! Whether tongue is yours or you are the slave of tongue? Until then his wife also got to reach there. It was her great surprise that as soon as her husband came he asked a knife to cut the lemon, cut them and the pieces were still there. She said ---- How fool you too are! Not tasting them having them cut! Teerathram got up quickly and threw out both cut and whole lemons. Then shouted in pleasure . I won. I can subdue the senses.

No Happiness without DevotionThe immortal wordsSant Sadguru Maharshi Mehi Paramhans

-, | | | [I worship the lotus-feet of my master; the ocean of benevolence and the personified God. Whose words are rays of sun in the agglomerate darkness of widely spread fascinations.] Dear people! Two types of people dwell in India: Arya and Anarya. Who all know about descency, knowledge and wisdom are Arya. They are Aryans who are cultured, civilized and know about workmanship. Those who are uncivilized, uncultured and unaware of any art 1 are Anaryans. In them there is no knowledge. Kol bheel etc. are Anaryans.

Who does not wish to get anything, receives everything. Who wish to get something, doesnt receive any thing. In previous times there was a nun who was a daughter of a bheel and was a disciple of sage Matang. Her name was Shavri. She was married to a shawar caste wild man. In her previous birth, Shavri was a queen. She was trying to do satsang but she had to live behind curtains. She wished not to live behind the screen. So in her next birth, she had born in the family of a bheel. After getting married to her, her husband was taking her to his home. Shavri was ugly faced. Her husband thought that the children in his home would be afraid of her face so what was the need of taking her along. Her husband wanted to quit her and on the other side, Shavri also was reluctant to go with him. They were on their way in jungle. Having got a chance, her husband left her and ran away. Then Shavri started living in the same jungle around the hermitage of sage Matang and started finding any chance to serve the sage. She saw a sadhu waking up early morning and sweeping on the way. Shavri liked that work. She started sweeping on the path before that sadhu was waking up. One day that sadhu caught Shavri sweeping on the path and took her along to sage Matang. The sage Matang told to leave her and said she was a great nun. Having initiated from sage Matang, she started her devotion and she completed her devotion in the same hermitage. Shavri became qualified in all types of devotions. When sage Matang departed from the world then as she belonged to lower class, the sadhus there refused her to take water from a pond. As a result, the water in that pond cankered and sadhus also had to bring water from distance. Finally Lord Shri Ram came to that hermitage and asked the sadhus, do you have any trouble? They requested. Please see that the water of the pond from where we were bringing water has cankered and now we have to bring water from distance, this is our trouble. Please put your feet in that pond so that water will be refreshed. As the sadhus told, lord Ram went inside that pond but the water did not refresh. When lord Rama told, Shavri went inside the pond. By her going, the water again refreshed. One should not boast that he is clever, rich and elite etc. Devotion doesnt sets down in haughtiness. Devotion is possible by them who sacrifice haughtiness.

| | | | | | Ramcharit Manas

[The human being without devotion, irrespective of his caste, creed, clan, religion, achievements, riches, might, family, qualities, and cleverness; is like cloud without water] Lord Ram preached nine types of devotion to Shavri.

| | | Ramcharit Manas

[Companionship with sant is first type of devotion. Second type is to be engaged in the saga and references of almighty God.] First devotion is the sants companionship or true companionship. Wearing clothes and garbs, one is not a great mahatma or sant. Sant is that who recognizes the God. Before this quality, he is called the Sadhu. Visitation of such sant or sahib, who distinguishes God, is very difficult. The God is not hidden to him who is able to recognize the God. The vision by which the yogi gets the God, that vision continuously remains. Here vision doesnt mean eyesight. God is seen with inner eye i.e. souls eye. Companionship of such a qualified sahib is difficult. Lets not identify any one as the sant by just seeing the dress and garb. The companionship with the words of Sants is also satsang (i.e. true companionship). If one will read sants words, listen to them, and put reverence to it, then sooner or later he will meet with good master also.

| | | [One who has affection with truth finds truth undoubtedly.] Ramcharit Manas

| |Sant Kabeer

*Where ones consciousness remains engaged, Sant Kabeer says; he reaches there.+ Where there will be companionship with true sants and sahibs, then there would surely the sagas and references of almighty God would be told. Listen to those stories with mind.

, | , | |Ramcharit Manas

[Third devotion is service to the master without any pride. And fourth is to sing the attributes and merits of almighty God without any deceitfulness] In third type of devotion, the lord said to serve the master being free from pride.

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | |Ramcharit Manas

[Lord Rama preaches to Shavri that the fifth devotion is chanting of mantra with firm belief which explained in Veda. Sixth devotion is Dum, i.e. subduer of sensual subjects. Seventh devotion is Shum (subduer of mind) i.e. to see God everywhere equally and to believe that the sants are greater than the God. Eighth devotion is being satisfied with what you have and not to see others defects even in dream. Ninth is being simplest without any guile and complete dependence on the God without any pleasure or pain.] Fifth devotion is chanting of the mantra. By not doing any outer service also if one chants the mantra with concentration then its the best. , [One million worships are equal to one psalm and one million psalms are equal to one chanting] Ordinary people also knows how to chant but in chanting also there are distinctions. Chanting is of three types: WACHIK, UPANSHU and MANAS. Manas chanting are best, below to it Upanshu chanting is better and then below to Wachak chanting is good. There is also breath chanting. The base of that chanting is physical; because breathe is physical and based on that only we

do chant. We put the chanting word with breathing in and out. Manas chanting take place in mind i.e. chanting word will not at all be tongued. In Upanshu chanting, you only can here the mantra being repeated. In Wachik chanting, chanting mantra is audible also to others. Manas chanting is said to be best. Therefore it is best to be practiced by all irrespective of their place and tongue. You best do it, because it boosts up the morale. We chant the name of our favored in mind. If one will be in the company of sants, there will be some stories and dialogues, that will give knowledge to him and he would like to have master. Having master he will serve him too. Guru will tell some mantra that he will chant. After this he will meditate the face of his favored deity. These are in order. If he would wish to do one leaving other, it wouldnt be. For example, who have not read multiplication table cant know how to sum. Without learning to sum, he cant know subtraction. Likewise Nine-Devotions are in order. The mind forces the senses to work. If you dont wish to see, if someone walks in your front, you will not like to see. Therefore there is a great deal between mind and senses. Senses activates on minds wish. For example, if someone smokes. If his mind would believe that smoking is not good, and he quit smoking and if again his mind would wish to smoke, then he would say in his mind --- No, I promised, I will not smoke. Like such practices, mental intensity towards smoking will be lessened and later he will not wish to smoke. Same way it is for flesh and fish. By controlling your mind, tongue also stops. How the senses will be subdued? First subdue your mind with the help of idea. And one more thing. While you sleep, before it the hands and legs weaken. The strength gets drawn towards inside. One somnolence state comes, sliding down to it we reach to the dreaming state. When the current of your mind enters inside, then your senses cant do any work. The forms, the juices, the smells, the touches and the words; you will have no knowledge of any of these subjects. Till this current of mind stays with senses, the senses work. Therefore, sants said that, turn back this current of mind from senses. This will be sixth devotion. When your mind turns inside, having subdued from subjects, then it faces towards the God. There is relation between mind and sight also. Where will be your sight, there will be your mind also. Therefore we should know the process of Drishti-Sadhan (i.e. the yoga by means of sight) by which your mind will refuse the voluminous subjects and accept the subtle subjects. Like this the senses will be suppressed. This is the sixth devotion. In this devotion you need to subdue your mind after being detached from senses. Who knows the good skill of devotion, he does. He bestirs his mind where there would be no forms, juices, smells, touches and words. But there is such a word that when you will hear that, that word you will come to hear whether you are outside or inside. With this practice of inner sound (i.e. Naadanusandhaan), there will be Shum (i.e. subduer of mind). This only will bring parity. Who will practice this naadanusandhan will achieve the God. Five devotions are Apara Devotions. Dum (subduer of senses) and Shum (subduer of mind) are called Para Devotions.

, | , | | , | , | | , | , ||Sant Sunder Das

[The devout listens to the sound without ears, gazes to the face without eyes and speaks lot of praise without tongue. Dances without feet, claps without hands, accompanies without body, increases too much of bliss. Keeps Feeling like servitor without bowing to lord, the soul meets with supreme soul. Sant Sunder says it : the Para Devotion.] The performer of such devotion would be very lucky. Whatever he will get, he will be satisfied in that. He will never look on others defects. He will be simplest of all and guileless. Shavri did the same devotions. For him the lord Rama told

i.e.all types of your devotions are firm. Shavri had done such yoga that , |i.e.after leaving the bodies in the fire of yoga, ones soul becomes rapt or absorbed in the God and never returns.

In front of lord Ram, Shavri sat to meditate and viewing Srirams face she left her body in the fire of yoga. She got rid of all bonds. This is why everyone should perform the devotions to the God. Without devotion to the God, no one in the world lives happily, everyone lives painfully. Having completed the devotions when the body of the devout left, then he goes there, from where again he has not to come back to this painful world.[This discourse was given in evening satsang, at Baramasiya village in Arariya District , on dated: 18/12/1952 ]

Saints doesnt preach to become LazySant Sadguru Maharshi Mehi Paramhans

Some people think about sants that they always say to pay devotion to the God. And that they never tell any profession to be done to earn sustenance. The mother puts her breast into the childs mouth; but who tell about sucking it? For sustenance everyone do something their own. Do earn. That is not prohibited. Sant preaches the nationals to be self-dependent for the dignity of nation. At times, the sant like Guru Govind Singh has picked up the weapons for the country. But again, check out his grace! One Sikh was appointed to feed water to the soldiers fallen into the battle field; but he fed water to the fallen enemies also. It was complained to Guru Govind Singh Ji. He interrogated to that person feeding water. Do you feed water to enemies? He replied.. Yes Excellency! He who fell down would no more remained enemy. Guru Govind Singh Ji became so happy and said you are doing so well. Where is such warrior? Its wrong to think that sants preach to be lazy. My master his holiness was saying to be self-supporter. He cant pay devotion to the God who could not be self-supporter. Earn and eat. Dont do evil deeds. If the people would be self-dependent, would save themselves from doing sin, would save themselves from doing any evil deeds, then it will add to the welfare of the country. You can earn your riches by evil deeds but in the devotion to the God, you cant progress if you will do evil. To which we call Santmat, is very much needed to gain benefits in the world. Not only to India, will whole world be proficient. One country will not cheat other country. Therefore, everyone pay devotion to the God and do satsang. It will add to your welfare. One who says such ideas of sants as promoting lazyness, does not really possess good thoughts and he does not think positive about satsang.

No Rest without RamDiscourse NectarSadguru Maharshi Santsevi Paramhans

, , | , , , || [To the blissful face of the true master which helps to meet the very base of all; the God, I put my repeated prayer to bestow bliss and welfare. Oh auspicious bliss-giving master, I am unable to describe your glory. I dont know anything, all that I will say will be your benevolence.] India is a theist nation. Most of the people pay devotion but the benefit that they should get, they dont gain. They pay devotion as the way they know how to do it. Sant Kabeer says that everyone pays devotion to the God but the confusions do not fade away, they do not stop wandering out for the God. As a result, devotion becomes crisis to them and in that, the pain and the conflict continues. Basically, without the eye of conscience, they worship to delusion not to divine. One person was in need of water. He was thinking about the place to find water. Someone told to dig the earth to find water. He started digging. He dug about 45 feet, but couldnt find water. He thought that there is no water. He started digging at other place. He dug almost 75 feet, he couldnt find water again. Again he went to third place and now he dug about 150

feet. He couldnt find water. Like this he dug at many places but couldnt find water. Getting tired he told that there is no water inside the earth. If that person wouldnt have dug here and there and had dug at one place patiently, he would have surely found water. Similarly, People pay devotions but unable to meet the God. How they do? Today they devote to goddess Kali, tomorrow goddess Durga, day after tomorrow lord Ganesh, again lord Shiva, again devote to lord Hanuman. Like this they continue paying their devotions but unable to see the God. And then they say that God is nowhere. Sants says: why do you wander here and there. Devote to any one deity. All the deities have voluminous, subtle, causal, supra-causal, kaivalya and soul forms. Until a devout attain the soul- form of his deity, his devotion doesnt complete, complete welfare is not availed. Therefore, be single-minded and concentrate on any one deity. First devote to the voluminous form, then know about subtle form, then about supra-causal and Kaivalya forms and then know about the soul form. Like this complete welfare will be achieved. That, which is divine, you are unaware of the methods of nearing to it, you are not practicing those methods, then how will you find that? Sant Kabeer says: Why you lost the eye of conscience? First you know about his whereabouts. Move in the inner sky. There is a current coming downwards. Catch that. From where that current has come? That current has originated from supreme soul, the almighty God. It has originated from word-less to word, word to light and from light to darkness. To catch that current you need to reverse. Every day in the aarti of sant Tulsi Sahib, we sing:

that means, like Alal bird sant Tulsi reversed back leaving his body behind. Alal is the name of a bird. Unlikeother birds it doesnt nest. It lives in the sky. Their male and female mate there in the sky. Far in the sky they live and the female lays egg there only. Then that starts falling down from there. As the egg comes down and down, it gets robust and more robust and then that egg breaks to release the child bird out. And now that child gradually comes down and down and gradually one after the other the organs gets formed. Like this when all the organs formed and that child comes down near to earth, then its eyes open. The child sees that this is earth not my home. Let me go where my home is. It turns back and goes back flying near its mother and father. Similarly, the soul was there with supreme soul, it came down to the world. And this earth is really the dying place but this soul is immortal. Soul i.e. jeev means, that which always remains alive, never dies. That which is immortal, whether it should live at dying place or immortal place? So it is needed to be reversed like Alal bird. How will you be reversed? Its needed to catch that current in inner sky which has come from word-less zone. Where is the path to catch that? That is not the worldly path. Worldly path are really spread all around but that inner path is amazing, narrow and straight. [That inner path is amazing , walking on which the sovereign almighty meets.] To search for the sovereign almighty, its needed to walk along our inner path. Who will be the guide, the torchbearer? , *The auspicious, the blessed, the donor, who guides the way is the true master. + The true masters are so benevolent. They show the right path to the wandering people. Then what is the right path?

, | | | *Why are you wandering around searching for your pal? To go to the lord of love, the path is in the Shahrag ( i.e. Sushumna i.e. aagya chakr i.e. Shivnetra, i.e. the third eye i.e. the tenth door in the body i.e. bhruwormadhy or the junction of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati at a point between eyebrows; the real triveni]

The path to go to the God is in Shahrag or Sushumna. Who walks on that path, does it paining to them? No, *Walking on that path gives utmost pleasure where spring occurs+ There is only happiness while walking on that path. Sant Kabeer says:

| , | [In such devotion there occurs bliss and only bliss. The cloud of elixir rains there, which wets any devoting sant.+ There is only bliss. A Bengali master has told his experience as: Until the current of our consciousness will be scattered in these ten senses, we live like ten headed monster. We forget the idea of truth and false. We take iniquities as our religion. We do not hesitate to perform evil deeds. The true masters say to collect the current of consciousness scattered in ten senses and accumulate them at one center. The verse has come in Kathopnishad, which says:

| | | | | | [This body is the chariot and the soul is aboard on it. Your wisdom is the driver of this chariot and the mind is halter of the horses that are drawing this chariot. Senses are the horses and the Subjects are pasture of the horses.] The senses in the form of horses run in the pasture of subjects. Until these ten senses would keep running into these subjects, you will be remained as ten-headed monster. When you will board on the chariot after having subdued these ten senses, then you will become Dushrath (i.e. Father of lord Ram). And once you are Dushrath, then Ram would surely born in your house. [ Here, Dusrath and Ram are metaphors which conveys the meaning of Ram as all pervaded lord and Dusrath means one who pay devotion and lord privilege him by coming to him realized.] If you want eternal bliss, come and meet Ram. Ram is not taking birth inside you therefore there is no bliss. Where is Ram, there is bliss. Therefore collect the current of consciousness from your senses and concentrate them at the center of Aagya chakr i.e. Sushumna. Two forms of elixir are there in our body. In Light form and Sound form. Until there is heat and heart-beats i.e. light and sound in our body, this body is alive. When they will disappear, this body will die. Its needed to catch that elixir by inner practices. One precept of my master is: *Through the narrow duct in sushumna the elixir is flowing+ Who enters in sushumna, they first get the light form elixir and then they get the sound form elixir also. One who catches that sound is so lucky. The practitioner, first listen to the plurality of sounds and then he catches the quintessential sound out of it. That sound is Om (the word from the beginning of the world), the same is Satnaam (the true immortal word). Catching that word, the practitioner reaches up to the universal being, the supreme soul. Like this he gets rid of the cycle of deaths and births. The practitioner gets unparalleled pleasures. That pleasure is not got by senses and their subjects. The pleasure what we get via senses are temporary. Pains are attached to those pleasures. But those which are the pleasures beyond senses, and without

subjects, are stable and universal. Only supreme sovereign soul is the element without subjects and is universal being. Except that all other things are mortal and limited. Therefore, when that will be attained, then it will give universal pleasure. To achieve that, practice the meditation processes by means of inner light and inner sound. Keeping your character holy, earn your livelihood without evil deeds. Like this you will find welfare in this world and in the afterworld also.[This discourse was given in night satsang, at Jamshedpur on dated: 02/11/1999. :- Swami Ashutosh Gurusnehi]

Teachings of QuranSri Binoba Bhave Oh reverents! Mind your own business. When you are on right path, no damage will be done to you by other wanderers. All of you have to go back to the lord only, and then he will tell you that what you had been doing. 2. I have ordered the suns of Israel that if anybody kills a human being because of any cause other than loss of anyones life or war erupted on the earth, then he would have as if killed the entire mankind. And if anyone saves one life then he would have as if given life to entire mankind. 3. Its the Gods decision that, do not pay your devotion to anyone other than him. 4. Behave courteously with mother and father. If any of them becomes old near you then dont disdain. Talk with him with humility. 5. Your God knows very well that what is there in your mind. If you are gentle, he is going to mercy them who go back to devotion. 6. Never approach to adultery. That is surely shameful and bad way. 7. Do not act egotistically on earth. Neither you can tear the earth nor can you achieve the height of the mountain. 8. Enemy of God are those who gets involved in corruption even after accepting Islam and those who shed the blood without any cause. 9. Whoever pity on his creatures, the God also pity on them. Therefore pity on human beings whether they are good or bad. Pitying on bad means save them from badness so that he who is in heaven would pity on you. 10. When you speak, speak truth. When you give words, do it. Perform your liabilities. Dont do adultery. Be pious; dont let ill thoughts come in mind. Protect your hand from doing any attack which is illegal and bad. 1.

Until sun remains behind the cloud, it is not visible. When cloud gets removed then sun is seen and then we become happy by the benefit we get from it. Similarly divine is not visible because of coatings of illusion. When illusionary coatings removes then divine is realized and we get divine bliss. Remember, the coated soul itself is responsible to remove the coatings, not the divine. Maharshi Santsewi Paramhans

Implicit Meaning of KnowledgeSatsang-SumanSwami Ashutosh Gurusnehi

The general meaning of knowledge is perception or acquaintance but in dictionaries, its special meanings has been given as: Noticing the Soul, Self Realization, Veda, Divine etc. However, whether fauna or the flora; in living beings, some knowledge would surely be seen but in terms of knowledge acquisition and its usage, human beings are paramount. Other livings have required knowledge to live their lives, but human beings, with the use of its intellect, get aware about other livings and also reveal a number of mysteries of the universe. Furthermore, in the higher state of rising knowledge, the human being experiences its self and then realize it, and then the

creator also no more remains hidden for him. This is the top state of the knowledge where the trio of knower, knowledge and the knowable, ends. It is said that, the human enlightened with knowledge, is better than heavenly beings and the human without knowledge is worse than the animal. Uttar Gita (ch. 2) declares: that means people without knowledge are like animals. We cant say that animals doesnt have wisdom; on the contrary, now days, they train the animals and show surprising feats, and exploit for human usage. We all familiar with the talks of pigeon carrying posts, searching of explosives and toxic materials by sniffer dogs, dancing monkeys and other animals and also about their feats etc. Even though Uttar Gita focuses on the concern that generally the knowledge that an animal has, that much knowledge is not bears much importance in human beings life. The fundamental knowledge of foods and drinks, sleep and wake up, breeding etc. has been given to all the creatures by the creator. Even a small child weeps when gets hungry and sucks the breast for food. If the human being would be satisfied with this animal accessible fundamental knowledge, then that is nothing but ignorance only. There is no any exaggeration if the scripture says animal to such people. Its noteworthy to give it a thought that. which knowledge is needed to be known by human beings to develop humanity? We see that the people go to schools and colleges worldwide, achieves top degrees etc; still they lack the best humane values. They use to intake meet and alcohol and get involved in telling lies and adultery. Top officers and ministers treason for money, misappropriate the national wealth, in the face of any hindrance in the fulfillment of self-interest they kill, rob and rape. Those which foster these evil values are really knowledge or vandal? Whatever knowledge they have got, reasonably they are vandals instead. Terrorists know how to create explosives and arms and misuse them, which accounts for thousands of innocent killings. All such knowledge which are catastrophic, which add to turbulence and retrogress and which devaluates the human values are literally opposing the very spirit of knowledge. Knowledge can be something which is conducive to the public, creative, something which can beget peace and something which can help in self progress. When true knowledge enters into ones interior, it degrades the evil coat from over his mind and soul and he gets refined. Like philosophers stone when touches iron, the iron turns into gold, similarly with the touch of knowledge, a corrupt mind turns bright and pure. In Mahabharata it is strongly said that: Only knowledge can make the soul devoid of birth and death. Mahabharata, Shanti Parv, ch.144

The person who gets involved in outer purity instead of purity of knowledge, that fool gets lump of clay and leaves the gold. Bhagwad Gita also confirms this matter as: ' ' Nothing can make you pure like knowledge does. BhagwadGeeta Jabaal-Darshanopnishad

Please check out the ideas of religious scriptures in the context of glory of knowledge Like ablaze fire always burns the fuel, similarly the fire of knowledge always burns all the evils. BhagwadGeeta 4/37

Only knowledge can remove the pain away, only knowledge can remove darkness, only knowledge can give you the supreme accomplishment, there is no other way. Sri Madadya Shankaracharya has written in his book Mohmudgar that: Yog Waashishth 5/88/12

Some goes to Ganges, some obey his vow to some deity and some donates, but everyone conform to it that without the knowledge, one cant achieve salvation even after hundred births. Moh Mudgar

Kowledge produces salvation so no preaching is better than knowledge. So we should leave that master who is unable to donate knowledge. Brihatantrsar

With the practice of religion, attachment to the world gets over, and with the practice of yoga, it produces knowledge. Veda says that salvation can be achieved by knowledge. Ramcharit Manas

One important question arises here that: what is that knowledge whose glory has been sung in all these scriptures? What is that knowledge which creates human in a true sense, lessens all their sorrows to over, causes to achieve salvation? Lord Krishna answered this question to Arjuna when he was answering to his curiosity. He said: Oh Arjun! I only am the souls in all the bodies. I believe that, knowing the bodies and the souls in them with divine knowledge is really the knowledge. BhagwadGeeta

Knowledge about self is the best knowledge. It destroys the ill knowledge and helps to get elixir i.e. the highest wisdom, the salvation. Sant Yaari sahib also considers them knowledgeable who realized their soul. Inside the colorful beads in the garland only one thread is threaded. Though this thread is the very cause of the garlands form, it remains latent. Similarly there is only one soul which is their inside all the creatures and that is hidden and unrealized. Like the air entered inside the universe and that is consistent with everything. Similarly, only one soul of all the creatures is consistent with all, and even pervaded outside them. Kathopnishad Manusmriti 12/85

After knowing the soul pervaded in all the creatures, sense of differences gets over. The dual feelings vanish. This is complete knowledge. Therefore, the scriptures say: ' ' i.e. realizing similarity is knowledge . Goswami Tulsidas described this state as: , i.e. I could know the universal being pervaded all across, I bow with folded hands. According to lord Krishna, The experience gained about the body and the soul inside it, by elemental wisdom i.e. divine wisdom is said to be knowledge. He even said in Bhagwadgeeta that the soul inside the body is nothing but the God. i.e. ch..13/22. Because it is not much of worth to know the body, therefore, the essence of lords statement is to have self realization of the lord in its equally pervaded form, inside the body, is really the knowledge. Literally same thing has been said by self-meditation-absorbed, master of yogis, the great sage, the sire Mehin Paramhansa. He says that: Experiencing that the God is inside everyone, is knowledge and experiencing that everyone is inside the God, is science. He also said that: knowing by hearing is worthless, knowing by experience has worth.

Its also necessary to know that who has the right of such knowledge which gives the peace and the salvation. Lord Krishna, in Bhagwadgeeta says: A reverent, stoic and meditation-absorbed person attains knowledge and gets the ultimate peace immediately. BhagwadGeeta 4/39

That means to attain the knowledge, the reverence in the guidelines of master, subduer of senses and practice in a right way; all three are inevitable. In the context of all these discussion, a precept of Lord Buddha summarizes it so nicely. It says: No meditation without knowledge, No knowledge without meditation. Who possess both meditation and knowledge, are near to salvation. DhammPad

The statement of Lord Buddha clarifies that, for the process of meditation, knowledge is inevitable, which is surely the initiation knowledge (related to process of meditation) from a meditation-absorbed master. And in the statement No meditation without knowledge, knowledge refers to divine realization related experience. Muktikopnishad also agrees to it that meditation produces knowledge and freedom of soul (i.e. salvation). It says: The cause of meditation, from which knowledge and salvation produces, is one-point-concentration (concentration of mind). When the practitioner collects and joins both the currents of consciousness at a master-guided point inside them, then in the state of complete concentration, the coating of darkness breaks and he views the refulgent light. There he listens to many melodious inner sounds (words). With masters benevolence, he identifies the quintessential sound centered amongst those sounds. And with the help of that quintessential inner sound, the practitioners consciousness travels up to the word-less zone, and thus he knows soul and supreme soul by experience and attains salvation in living state itself. And thus he becomes the supreme master. This is the ultimate level of knowledge in which light and sound plays the principal role. The message from holy Veda is: *No knowledge without sound (word), No welfare without sound. We can conclude by saying that, the knowledge of soul and supreme soul is the supreme knowledge for human beings. It takes us out from the worldly pains like births and deaths etc., to the state of salvation (i.e. Moksh, Nirwaan, Nazat). By other worldly knowledge, complete welfare of human being is not possible. The people who are curious to know about this path should learn from a true master about that true process of point-meditation and word-meditation, which is necessary to realize the soul and supreme soul. Lord Shiva has told to Paarvati that: By whose remembrance only the knowledge starts to appear, that master only is the face of all resources. So he should be worshiped. Some devout has said: [Something that mind and senses cant know, wisdom cant identify, word also cant reach there; no one except the true master can make you view it. Something which is without form and symptoms, that which is without name and place and that which words cant describe whether true or false; only true master can make you aware about.] ShriGuruGeeta

Masters have divided the knowledge into four divisions: 1) 2) 3) 4) Knowledge by listening (i.e. Shravan gyan), Knowledge by consideration (i.e. Manan gyan), Knowledge by meditation practice (i.e. Nididhyasan) Knowledge by experience (i.e. Anubhaw, Anu=later, bhaw= to produce, i.e. this level of knowledge can be gained at last.)

Mahatma Socrates has rightly said: Whatever is my knowledge is not even a trace amount. After hearing and considering a little and even practicing a little, if a person gets satisfied with that much knowledge, then that person remains deprived of the knowledge by experience. Therefore to attain true knowledge, continuous practice should be maintained, and then only perfection can be attained.

A MessageTrue Master Maharshi Santsewi Paramhans

Human being is a rational animal. With his conscience he is able to make decision on virtue-infidelity, admissible-abdicable, ought-unfair etc. If anyone is unable to decide on these aspects, then we say that his conscience has been died. In todays society lot of discrepancies has been entered. e.g. looting, murder, embezzlement, kidnapping, religious extremism, corruption, malpractice, depravity, rape etc. In the competition of material progress, individual interests have become important. People deny the human values for trivial interests. This attitude is the mother of the social complications in the current society. Who want to be the true citizens of the nation, they do not forsake the human values, retain your conscience and do fortunate jobs. To make your conscience robust, accompany with gentlemen, true masters and good books --- sit in good company. It will bring welfare in your life both in this world and afterworld. May God bless all with good notion! May this world and all the creatures find welfare! This is my well wishes.[This message was given on previous new year occasion. :- Swami Ashutosh Gurusnehi]

Do we know what to ask to the GodIf we would not clean our teeth it will decay and smell. If we would not take bath then bodys filth will produce several diseases. If machines wouldnt be cleaned, the dirt would suck there and cause problems. Similarly if our mind will not be cleaned, then due to its dinginess, the humanity will be degraded. We need to clean everything regularly. Similarly, we need to clean our mind daily. Devotion to the God fulfills the same concern of cleanliness. Therefore we should give it a place in our daily routine so that our inner cleanliness would take place continuously in order, without any issues. To satisfy our stomach, we need to eat regularly. To satisfy our soul, devotion to God is necessary. Therefore, each person who has interest in the amelioration of himself should devote some time in their daily routine for worship. Lets not mistake the worship as obligation to the God, and so the God should fulfill your wishes. If worship could have fulfill the wishes then, leaving this easy go, why we would be doing harsh jobs? If it could have happened, then the priests and clerics would be the happiest. But they are more miserable. Mostly, we demand inappropriate things from the God, not even know how to demand properly. Angle has rightly said: what you demand, you dont get, because you demand inappropriate things. If we demand sweets in a post office, then we have to be disappointed. Material success should be demanded from our arms. Atheists make lot of properties with their arms and labors. And those who keeps worshipping and demanding the God, they remain miserable due to insufficiency, poverty, disappointments etc. Meaning is clear. That which needed to ask, was not asked; whatever was asked for was wrong. In this case, if our wishes were not fulfilled then, lets not blame the God. Which

would have demanded from the ability, you demanded that from the God and which would have demanded from the God, that you didnt feel necessary? The things worth demanding from the God are: veneration, wisdom, courage, dedication, fearlessness, continence, true attitudes etc which changes poverty into prosperity. But instead of going to the foundation, we wish to reach to the top so quickly. As a result, we could reach nowhere with such long jump. The God is so disciplined. He cant go against the laws. He keeps the system of karma and their results, absolute. You can ameliorate your karmas by worship, you cannot change them. If God would fulfill our immoral wishes, then who would believe him as same for all? Faults are ours and loss to enemies? We suit false complaint and wish that God will make us win. Never ever opened the book, and God let you pass. The son should be obedient and virtuous even if the father would exhibit depravity? The wife should be chaste even if husband conducts wrongfully? Should such unjust wishes be fulfilled? If such unjust wishes will be fulfilled, world will no more remain consistent. Bribing the God for the success in fraud works and if fails then say that the God is not there in the world, if he is, then he would have heard our worship and prayer. Thats it. Now days, the standard of devotion is same as that. Guileful and dishonest devotees should first deal with the God that, you agree with this horse-trading or not? If not, then why to waste the life in worship? Students bypass from studying, roaming here and there for whole year, and when exam nears, then put sweets before deities for blessings for success. Is it right? If those deities will do the same, then who will waste their head in books? Then what about virility and studiousness? Material wishes can be attained by ability, trying and virility. For this we should not knock the door of God. We should only ask God for ability to do work.
