Work Dune Prospecting and sampling was carried out in the Doubtful Lake area to locate folded conductor, previous eh i i l hole locations and target anomalies. Backhoe stripping was carried out at promising locations such as i. he r y o i i t e zone found in 1989 Lithe-sampling, drill-hole target conductors, and a rusty sulfide zone. Stripped areas were sampled for gold and base metals.

hydro line to observe rock structure and type, folding, faulting, etc.

May 15, 1990- accompanied by K. Kivi Geologist Rio Algom Exploration- looked at pits Bug Lake claim # K 1085754 and took 3 samples

BUG-001, BUG-002, BUG-003.- looked at and sampled ryolite occurrance in northwest corner

of K-1019024. DBT-001, DBT-002, DBT-003.- found rusty mineralized rock north of ryolite occ. and took

samples DBT-004, DBT-005, DBT-006

May 28, 1990- accompanied by G. Williams Geologist, Noranda Exploration Co,- Looked at Bug Lake pits claim # K-1085754 and took 2 samples

10559 A and B- looked at and sampled rocks near ryolite occurrance in the

northwest corner of K-1019024 Doubtful Lake.10559 C,D,E,F,G.- Prospected for folded conductor and old (1970) Hudson Bay

Exploration drill locations.- Drill collars-found.

Aug. 8,9,10 1990- Backhoe trenching carried out at four locations on Doubtful

Lake claims K-1019024 and K1019028.- 14 samples taken 23588 and 23589, 23601-23612 incl.- location and type of samples as per enclosed description and

Apr. 20, 1990- prospected the area of iron formations on Claims K-1017839

and 1017840 to try to understand the sequence of folding in that area.

Apr. 23 S 24 1990- geophysical infill lines were chained and flagged in the

area of iron formation.- a reconnaisance magnetometer survey was done in this area

so that a better understanding of the folding of the iron formation could be obtained.

Aug 19, 1990- Prospected in southwest area of claim block for extension

of graphite zone and for structures and host rocks favourable for base and or precious metals.

- Claims traversed were K-1017933, 1017934, 1017937, 1017938- No extension of graphite zone found on these claims.- No favourable structures found here either. Rock is mostly

white pegmatites intruding sediments.- Two samples were taken south of the English River Road off

of the claim group.

Work Done B-horizon soil samples were taken at 10 meter intervals along a grid which was cut in 1989 program. The survey covered essentially the same area as a previous humus sampling program. Samples were also taken at the Hudson Bay Occurrence in MacQuarrie Township.

0.4m. chip - Sericite-quartz-chlorite schist, deeply weathered and earthy, minor fine pyrite, rusty.

0.4m. chip - Massive un-sheared plug of basalt, 35?; of sample is adjacent sheared, altered basalt, weak rust.

0.7m. chip - very rusty Sericite-quartz schist 3-5mm. Quartz rich lenses with 7% fine disseminated pyrite. One pinhead of Au

0.5m. chip Chlorite-sericite-quartz schist, softer and earthier than PSG-003, deeply weathered beyond sampled horizon.

0.7m. .Hard, competent block of silicified basalt very difficult to sample, biotitic, trace pyrite.

0.5m. chip Hard, silicified basalt or sulphide iron formation, up to 71 pyrite locally.

l.lm. chip Strongly sheared mafic volcanic, shearing increases in intensity to South. Up to 10% disseminated pyrrhotite locally, one speck may be Au.

Grab - Sheared rusted feldspar porphyry and sericite altered mudstone - sample from south contact of intrusive. ^

Grab - Graphitic sediment with 71 stringers of pyrrhotite - some cherty bands nearby.

40cm. chip Rusty sericitic zone, likely same graphitic unit as PSG-009, strongly sheared, deeply rusted, no pyrite visible.

Grab Quartz vein, minor pyrite, adjacent large (2m) feldspar porphyry dyke, west side of bay.

Grab Intermediate feldspar crystal tuff with 5% pyrite in seams, weakly sericitic, local float on East Island with cabin facing the Narrows.

PSG-013 Grab Quartz vein on south side of cabinisland, 2-3% pyrite.

HUDBAY OCCURRENCEHDB-001 40cm. chip, across graphitic sulphidic

sediments, about 40-60i pyrrhotite and minor chalcopyrite.

HDB-002 10cm. grab - of massive pyrrhotite section3m. N. of the shoreline zone.

HDB-003 Basalt, fine grained, dark grey l?; finepyrrhotite, trace chalcopyrite.
