Happy Birthday to everyone in our School
Community who is celebrating their Birth-
day this week!
Newsletter Term 2 Week 3
Hello Everyone,
Coraki Public School staff have enjoyed seeing the return of the students this week as
per our staggered attendance schedule. All the students are keen and happy to be back
at school and we want to thank all the parents and caregivers for all the support you
have given to your children during
this challenging time. We have many
students who are attending school
every day due to the circumstances
affecting their family with work com-
mitments etc. We welcome all fami-
lies to send the students back to
school if required
We are all following social distancing pro-
tocols and we have a cleaner on site most
of the day. We have sanitiser to use for all
attendees and equipment at school, and
we are reinforcing hand washing and
keeping and hands and feet to self. We
would appreciate if you could assist us by
talking to your children about these prac-
tises. All play equipment is sanitised after each individual use. I encourage parents to
follow ‘Kiss and Drop’ protocols.
Staff will be at the gate to sanitise
anyone entering the school. We
ask that unless you are visiting
the office please call to make an
appointment so we can minimise
the number of adults on site. We
thank you for your support with
this.
The staff will be continuing to
contact the students via phone or online platform if they are learning from home and
we are here to answer any questions you may have.

While we have had reduced student numbers at school our wonderful Teacher Aides
and AEO have been very busy supporting staff in preparing the home learning packs,
cleaning out storerooms, sorting out resources.
We have had a lot of amazing work happening
at the school over the last few months. Most
recently we have had the skylights replaced,
whirlybirds serviced and the roof cleaned. Our
school is certainly looking amazing and is ready
for the students to return.
I would like to acknowledge our amazing staff
and pay tribute to the fantastic work they have
done in every aspect of the school over the past
months, which includes activities such as:
preparing work, cleaning, maintenance,
teaching, supporting each other, supporting the
families.
Week 4 Student Attendance will follow the schedule below. Students are required to
attend on their scheduled day. If they do not attend they will need a note to explain the absence.
Coraki Public School is a fabulous place to learn, work and play.
We are all really looking forward to seeing all our families returning soon.
Kind Regards Lyn Parker

We are all keeping a close eye on all of the COVID-19 restrictions. As you
can imagine this puts a major spanner on our works for majority of term 2 schools needing a new date.
We are keeping a list of all schools that need rescheduling and replying
as soon as we can see a suitable date. You will not be forgotten, we will be
in contact as soon as we can.
