While it is theoretically possible for AuntMay to spend 100 Karma points and get aKill result on Galactus, such an event is, as

a practical matter, impossible in a well-rungame. In your example, Galactus would bekilled only if Aunt Mays attack getsthrough Galactuss Body Armor, and thenonly if Galactus fails a Class 1000 Endur-ance check (and Galactus also can opt tospend Karma to pass the Endurancecheck). Furthermore, sweet old Aunt Mayis in no position to collect 100 Karmapoints in the first place.

According to MARVEL SUPERHEROES game designer Jeff Grubb,most modules suggest usingstatistics in the Advanced SetJudges Book only because it isassumed that every seriousMARVEL SUPER HEROES gamereferee owns the Advanced Set.

So, feel free to use the mostrecent statistics you have. If theplay balance in a moduledepends on a specific set of statistics, these statistics will begiven in the module.

No. Generally, only offensive powers areconsidered when calculating a foes Karmavalue. However, the Judge might rule thata powerful defensive ability makes a foe aserious threat. This must be considered ona case-by-case basis. However, Invulnera-bility, since it only works against one par-ticular thing, is too limited a power to beconsidered in a foes Karma value.

Intuition depends on more than acute

senses and fast reflexes, although they dohelp (hence Spider-Mans Amazing combatsense). To have a very high Intuition score,a character must have a strong will, excel-lent deductive powers, common sense,quick wits, and great reflexes. If one ormore of these is lacking, the charactersIntuition score suffers.
