This process has now been simplified for the easy creation of

additional Cash Books.

Backup now with a date stamp

When you backup your company there will now be a date stamp to

make searching and restoring data easier.

There is also an option to include a password.

Inventory Mark-up

When increasing prices you will either adjust the prices on last

cost or average cost. This was previously only on average cost.

When determining your selling price, decide if you are working

with mark-up on cost price or with gross profit margin.

Whichever option is used, you can select either exclusive or

inclusive prices.

Tax Manager (already in Version 12)

With the new Tax Manager, when you back date transactions into a

closed VAT period, you no longer have to manually reconcile and

remember to add the values to your next submission.

To ensure correct VAT reconciliations and VAT reporting to SARS, it is

essential that the VAT reporting frequency is closed. In Tax Manager

you will set up your VAT reporting frequencies and process your

transactions as usual. At the end of each tax period, you will print

your report and close the tax period. Any transactions that are

backdated to a closed period will automatically form part of the

next Tax period.
