Spring2016Highlights:

• SAIL partnered with EWU-Spokanestudent services tooffer twoseriesofeventsduringspringquarter.Bi-weeklymovienightsandFreebieFridayeventsfeatured local activities like laser tag,rockclimbing,andDIYcanvaspainting.

• Eastern After Dark and the StudentLeadership Excellence Awardscontinued toengage studentsand thenewly developed Senior Send-Offprogram recognized the graduatingClassof2016.

• SAILpartneredwiththeLibrarytohostthree events prior to finals weekfocused on lowering student stress.Eventsincludedalawnpartywithgiantgames and popsicles and pet therapywithPaws&Relax.

• SAILpartneredwithfraternityandsororitycouncilstohostanumberoflecturesonleadershipandsocialjusticeinSpringQuarter.TimMousseauandJessicaPettitengagedanumberofstudents,faculty,andstaffthroughoutcampus.

Spring2016Highlights:

• Eagle Entertainment hosted two events during this year’s EWU Diversity & Inclusion Week thatattractedover250students:onewasaspokenpoetryperformanceandworkshopbyGYamazawaon May 9th and a screening of the film Pitch Perfect 2 followed by a performance from TheFilharmoniconMay10th.

• EEpartneredwithSAILandEWU-SpokaneStudentServicesontwoeventsfortheSpokanecampus.ThefirstwasEWU-SDayofKindnessonMarch31stduringwhichstudentscouldtakeaballoonalongwith a “kindness challenge” that they would complete and then pass on to someone else. Thesecondwasthe2ndAnnualEWU-SRecFestonMay4thduringwhichstudentscouldplaylawngamesandenjoysomehealthytreatswhilelearningaboutEWU’sCampusRecandEPICprograms.

• EagleEntertainmentbroughtback theirannual LastBlast, aweek-long seriesofeventsheld fromMay 23rd-26th around campus. Theweek kicked off with the Allen Stone& Parmalee concert onMonday,followedbyaziplineacrosscampusonTuesday,adrive-inscreeningofthenewStarWarsonWednesday, and a lunchtime performance by the Ragtag Romantics (this year’s Battle of theBandswinner)onThursday.Totalattendancefortheweekwas1,358students.

• EagleSoundProductionshadaverybusyquarter, loggingover200uniqueeventhoursprovidinglighting,audio,andtechfor6movies,1conference,2dances,2concerts,5GreekWeekevents,andavarietyofothercampus-wideevents.
