2017 Disaster Relief
Catholic Charities in the Diocese of San Diego and across the country are participating in an emergency
collection to support the humanitarian efforts to those affected by the natural disasters and to provide pastoral and rebuilding support to impacted Catholic. Everyone is encouraged to join the Church in being a
visible witness to the healing presence of Jesus alive in the world.
Please keep all the victims of Hurricane Irma, Mexico Earthquake, & Hurricane Maria in your prayers.
Halloween Candy Collection
For The Casa de los Pobres (House of the Poor) The Sisters of the Casa save donated Halloween
candy for the annual Christmas distribution. Please consider asking your children, family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and clubs if they would
donate some of their Halloween candy for the poor children in Mexico to make their Christmas a little more festive. Please put wrapped candies in bags
marked “Candy Collection” and bring it to the church office or the school office by November 5.
RCIA is held on Wednesday evenings at 6:45pm in the Parish Center

St. Agnes Women’s Guild “BooTeaQue”
St. Agnes Women’s Guild “BooTeaQue” Saturday, October 21st 10 - 3 in the Parish Hall “all seasons crafts and gifts for all” including: jewelry,
knitted and crocheted items, cards, books, jams, baked goods, plants, Christmas and
other holiday decor, home accessories. A portion of the proceeds benefit projects of
the Guild and School of Religion.
Confirmation: All interested in being confirmed and are at least a freshman in high school or older need to register with The Gathering Youth Ministry. Aubrey Marks is our confirmation coordinator and you may register online at SaintCharlesPL.com and click on Confirmation page. You may also email Aubrey at [email protected].
The Gathering: Our high school ministry has started! Every Tuesday evening St. Charles hosts our teens from 7-8:30pm in the Window Room at the rear of the Church. All High School aged teens are welcomed and we encourage you to bring a friend. Our first retreat is Oct 6-8 and all information may be found online at SaintCharlesPL.com and clicking on the High School page. Upcoming events include Magic Mountain and Ski N Board trip to Utah.
Jr Gathering: Jr Highers are meeting every 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. We gather at the Parish Hall at Saint Agnes Parish. Meetings run from 6:30pm-8:30pm and we encourage you to bring a friend. Upcoming events include Laser Tag, Rockin’ Jump, and our first retreat. Night of Adoration: Thursday, October 12th The Gathering Youth Ministry is sponsoring an evening of adoration. Come join our teens for a night of worship and praise followed by adoration at St Charles Church from 7-8pm. All ages welcomed!
Magic Mountain: Life Teen’s INSPIRATION is Nov 4th. All High Schoolers interested in joining us for this amazing day at Magic Mountain followed by a special after dark celebration of Catholic Faith with 3,500 other teens. Phil Schabarum has served for almost 3 years at the 5:30pm Mass.
