Today we unite with faith communities around the globe to
celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The paschal
candle burns brightly in our midst as we listen to the great
good news of the Resurrection, renew our baptismal
promises, and gather around the Eucharistic table to
consume the Body and Blood of the risen Christ. Let us
share the news with the world: Christ is risen! Alleluia!

Operation Rice Bowl 2017 We prayed, fasted and gave alms — and now we celebrate
Easter joy! Our Lenten journey with CRS Rice Bowl ends
as we encounter our risen Lord and commit to bring Easter
joy to each person we meet in our daily lives. Don’t forget
to turn in your CRS Rice Bowl next weekend, April 22/23.
There will be a large basket for your rice bowls on the table
in the commons. Thank you for your donations.

FUNDRAISER
BRISTOL FAMILY PROMISE The Annual fundraiser for Family Promise is Monday,
April 24 at Addilynn United Methodist Church at 6 p.m.
We are asking parishioners to donate appetizers and

COMMUNION BREAKFAST: The Council of Catholic
Women will host its annual Communion Breakfast here at
the Parish on Saturday, May 6, at 9 a.m. The whole parish

CDA Meeting—April 24 Members of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, our
Lady of the Rosary local court #2624, are reminded of their
meeting on Monday, April 24, at the KofC Hall. Social
hour at 5:30 and a “Baby Shower” benefitting the MOMS-
R-US Teen Pregnancy Program. This program is sponsored
by the YWCA. It is to help and improve the health and
wellness of teens and their babies by influencing their
decisions regarding pregnancy. Regular CDA meeting will
follow. Any lady needing a ride, please call Carol Reynolds

As Bishop DiLorenzo celebrates his 75th birthday on
April 15, he also submits his letter to the Holy Father,
Pope Francis, announcing he has reached the age limit
for a bishop. Once his letter is submitted, the Diocese
begins a waiting period until an announcement from
the Vatican is made.

St. Anne School 5K is May 13! Mark your calendars! The St. Anne School annual 5K run
is scheduled for May 13 on the Abingdon Creeper Trail. We
are looking for sponsors and participants. This is the
Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend. We have planned a
Mother’s Day theme with a special T-shirt design and a
special treat for all the “Moms” who participate. If
