We are a private, Roman Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory school for students in grades 9 - 12 located in the suburban community of South Huntington, New York. Our school is a true representation of the ethnic and socioeconomic diversity of Long Island, as our students travel from over 100 school districts between Manhattan and Montauk. Admission is selective and based upon the results of the Catholic High School Entrance Examination administered to 8th grade students. Students who achieve above average test scores, demonstrate the ability to succeed in a competitive college prepara- tory environment, and show a strong desire to attend Saint Anthony's receive admittance. Approximately 600 students are enrolled from the 1800 applicants. All students are required to complete a New York State Regents academic program. Founded upon the Franciscan principle, "Capture the heart and the mind will follow", Saint Anthony's encourages young men and women to nurture their moral, intellectual, aesthetic, and physical faculties in an atmosphere of faith, respect, and encour- agement. ese principles foster an awareness of personal sanctification and good citizenship for which each person is created and in which each as an adult will share. Saint Anthony's is committed to maintaining a high quality curriculum in its AP and Honors courses. In order to be admitted into an AP class, a student must earn a 92 average in the current subject along with teacher recommendation. Class sizes in AP courses are limited.

UniformsSophomore and Freshman Boys: Black uniform slacks, worn at waist-level, Gray uniform blazer, with embroidered school emblem, either long or short-sleeved, white oxford, button-down uniform shirt, fully tucked into the slacks, with cuffs, neck and collar buttoned, uniform black and gold patterned tie, uniform black belt, black socks only, and White Cross black uniform shoes only. In winter months, black sweater vest is worn under blazer.

Sophomore and Freshman Girls: Black knife-pleated uniform shirt, worn to cover the knee, Gray uniform blazer, with the embroidered school emblem, either long or short-sleeved, white hemmed uniform shirt. White Cross black uniform shoes only. Black tights are required when blazers are worn. In winter months, black sweater vest is worn under blazer.

In 2020-2021, tution is $10,950.00. Scholarships are academic based and are awarded to registered students. There are no athletic scholarships given at Saint Anthony’s.

The St. Anthony’s Athletic Department is committed to our student athlete’s journey towards Truth. It is the goal and ob-jective of the Athletic Department to use interscholastic sport and intramurals to foster the belief in our Roman Catholic Heritage, in the Franciscan tradition.

Theatre ProgramTheatre Program

Saint Anthony’s High School boasts a rather storied history of stage production including the Fall Play, the Spring Mu-sical, Theatre Improv Troupe and Drama. While the Theatre Productions and Improv Troupe are extra-curricular activi-ties, students may choose to pursue academic credit in their acting and drama classes. Each year, the Improv Troupe hosts an themed Improv night leaving the audience howling, while the Theatre Company puts on a Fall Play in November and a Spring Musical in April.
