ADA 2020: Encountering Christ — Faith in ActionAs we enter the third week of the 2020 Annual Diocesan Appeal, we would like to formal-ly thank all those who have pledged their support for the ministries and services of the parish and the Diocese.
Our goal is to have 100% participation. God moves the hearts of everyone. If you have not yet responded, please consider the many bless-ings from our Lord in your life, and may you receive the wonderful feeling of God’s love in the giving of your personal gift on behalf of our parish to the Annual Diocesan Appeal.
Please consider giving online at givecentral.org/dsj2020 or use your pre- printed pledge card received in the mail. If you did not receive your ADA information in the mail, please check the pews and the vestibule for a generic form to complete and turn into the parish office, or the collection basket.
Estate Planning WorkshopAn estate plan is more than just a document that designates how your assets are passed down. Having an estate plan in place has a variety of benefits that extend beyond simple inheritance and cover critical elements that wills ignore, such as guardian-ship for your children, protection for your business, and what happens if you are incapacitated. Come join us for an educa-tional session on what you can do today to protect your family, your wealth, assets and yourself. Presented by David Ryan, ESQ.
This workshop presented by Catholic Cemeteries of the Diocese of San Jose takes place on Thurs., Feb. 27th at 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Queen of Apostles Church, 4911 Moorpark Ave., San Jose, CA 95129.
Summer Camp Coming to Saint Frances Cabrini SchoolSteve & Kate's Camp is coming to SFC School this summer! Open to all!
Kids take charge at Steve & Kate’s Camp. Rather than wait until they’re “old enough” to make decisions, kids design their day, their way. They learn to adapt. To risk, fail and rise. They leap and lead, today, to build the self-confidence they’ll need to wrangle unknowns tomorrow.
We tee up a wide range of activities, and campers decide what they want to do, with whom, and for and how long. Whether it’s making an animation in the Media Lab, creating custom designs in the Sewing Salon, cooling off in the giant water slide, or cook-ing up some pizza in The Bakery, one thing is for sure: kids are in control.
We’ve also got plenty of perks for parents. Lunch and snacks are included in the camp fees, and we revolve around your schedule, not the other way around: buy any number of Day Passes and use them any time. You don’t even need to tell us that you’re coming — just show up. And at the end of the summer, if you have any leftover Day Passes, we’ll refund them automatically.
Open this summer from June 8th - Aug. 7th for grades Pre-K through 7th, with leadership opportunities for 8th & 9th graders.
