Totus Tuus - Totally Yours - Thank you to everyone that has been praying and donating to make this next week possible. Please continue to pray for our young church as they enjoy this next week drawing closer to the Catholic faith! I am so pleased to announce that we have 70 (K-6 graders) enrolled in the day program. We have 12 (7-12 graders) enrolled. Please encourage your high school children and grandchildren to attend the evening program from 7:30-9:30 starting this Sunday and going through Thursday. It is OK if they can’t attend every evening - just encourage them to attend as many evenings as they can. Please pray for safety and good weather! WKCSC Fall soccer sign-ups will be held at the Westphalia KC hall on Monday evening, July 16, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. All kids ages 3-14 (on 8/1/18) are welcome. Please, no late sign-ups. Email [email protected] if you have any questions.

There will be a Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, July 17, from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Westphalia Lions Den. Your blood donation will be very much appreciated.

St. Patrick Church and the National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church in Laurie, are hosting two events coming in August and September. There will be a Marian Conference held August 10-11 at St. Patrick Church. A Memorial Mass celebrating the life of Father Fred Barnett, founder of the Mother's Shrine, will be held on September 8 at the National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church.

Helias Catholic High School formal “re-sell” sale on Sunday, August 12, at the Helias old gym, 1305 Swifts Highway. Schedule: from 9 a.m. to 12 noon – drop off dresses to sell; from 1 to 2 p.m. – VIP early entry ($5 per person); from 2 to 4 p.m. – open shop-ping; from 5 to 6 p.m. – pick up money/dresses. The 5th Annual Jefferson City Area Catholic Radio Mass and BBQ fundraiser will be held on Saturday, July 14, at 4:00 p.m. at Helias Catholic High School. The schedule is as follows: 4:00 p.m. – Mass in the new Chapel at Helias (fulfills Sunday obligation); 5:00 p.m. – Social in the Helias Commons; 5:30 p.m. – BBQ Dinner (provided by Pat Schaefer and the area Knights of Columbus); 6:15 p.m. – Program; 7:00 p.m. – Depart. There is no charge for dinner or the program, but a financial pledge for the advancement of Catholic Radio in our area will be requested prior to departure. If you would like to join us in celebrating the rapid growth of Catho-lic Radio in our area, or would like to learn more about the programming, please come. Donations are not required but…. Reservations are required. If you would like to reserve your seat(s), or if you have questions, call or text Mark Rehagen at 680-2520 prior to July 10.

Frankenstein Fifth Fest on Saturday, July 21, at Our Lady, Help of Christians Parish, Frankenstein. Help celebrate a “Fifth Year” anniversary of the parish—155 years. Parade at 12 noon. Mass at 4 p.m. with Father Dan Merz.

“Stopping SCID in its tracks benefit” for Easton Rustemeyer: Easton Rustemeyer, 19 month old son of James and Renea Rustemeyer of St. Thomas was recently diagnosed with SCID, Severe Combined Immunodeficiency Disease. Easton has been hospitalized at St. Louis Children's Hospital and is awaiting a bone marrow transplant. He will remain there several months post transplant, displacing him nearly 150 miles away from home for nearly a year. Friends and family will be holding a benefit raffle, silent auction, and meal on October 6, 2018, but in order to make this a success, we are asking for donations. If you would like to help "Team Easton" by giving a donation of any kind, please contact Erica Goeller at 573-694-6366 or Lisa Herx at 573-280-8766. We appreciate your prayers, support, and generosity. Stay tuned for more information about the benefit in upcoming months.
