The Archdiocese of New York has begun the 2017 Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal. Many of you have already received a letter from the Cardinal and the importance of this yearly appeal. Our goal for this year has been set at $146,000.

Envelopes will be at the entrances of the Church. A link to the Cardinal’s Appeal will be posted on our website if you would like to make a donation that way.

Our Commitment Weekend will be the weekend of March 4/5.

You can also make a commitment at that time.

Our support of the Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal helps countless people and sustains the var-ious ministries throughout the Archdiocese of New York.

Last year we raised $130,000! This is the most to date that St Joseph’s Parish has given to the Appeal.

Thank you for your support and generosity of the Appeal and please pray for its success at our parish.

The 2017 Cardinal’s

Appeal has begun!

As disciples of Christ, we are called to help one another and be merciful, as Jesus taught us. It is only with your help that the Cardinal’s Appeal contin-ues its good work in our communities. Through our ministries and charities the Cardinal’s Appeal continues to be a bea-con of hope for our brothers and sisters in faith.

“So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith — Gala-tians 6:10 “

Oppose Late-Term Abortion Expansion New legislation has been introduced in the State Assem-bly that would increase late-term abortions in the state, empower non-doctors to perform abortions, eliminate pro-tections against unwanted abortions, and even jeopardize live-born children who survive abortion attempts. The bill has been fast-tracked and can be voted on in the Assem-bly at any time. Please urge your Assembly representative to oppose this extreme measure!
