Something about church’s patron
Saint Martin of Tours was born in 316 in Sabaria and he died on 8th November in 379 in Candes. He was really generous and kind. At the age of 15 he bacame a legionary, next he became a bishop. Legend has it that one day he met a scantily clad beggar. He impulsively cut his military cloak in half to share with the man. That night, Martin dreamed of Jesus wearing the cloak he had given away. He heard Jesus say to the angels: "Martin, who is still but a catechumen, clothed me with this robe."
