Saint Mary Parish is a community of Catholics, striving to be an open and caring people, living our faith, spreading

God's word, and serving as Jesus' disciples to our

families, our parish and our surrounding communities.

Dear Parish Family, A WARM WELCOME TO ALL OF OUR PARISHIONERS AND ALL WHO ARE VISITING WITH US TODAY! Please know we are very happy you have decided to worship with us today. You are most welcomed and loved at this special place! If you need any type of service or ministry please do not hesitate to call me or any member of our staff. We are most happy to serve you!

FATHER'S DAY REMEMBRANCE CARDS: Father's Day will occur on Sunday, June 17 across the United States this year. Saint Mary Parish will have available Father's Day Remembrance/Memorial Cards for both living and deceased

fathers. Suggested Offering is $5. All names of our dads will be placed on our Altar on Father's Day weekend. Cards are available at the Parish Office Center and at our Evangelical Resource Center (former Church Library).

VACATION BIBLE CAMP: Once again, back by popular demand, we will conduct our Annual Vacation Bible Camp from June 25 through June 29 inclusive. It will be a fun and faith-filled week for

your children. Please go on to our website and REGISTER NOW for Vacation Bible Camp. Thank you very much. The kids will have a great time.

PARISH GIVING: A serious concern: Unfortunately, we are not making our weekly budget for both Sunday Offering and for our School Mortgage. I am humbly asking if you could kindly increase your

sacrificial gift if possible. As always, I strongly encourage everyone to attend Sunday Mass as well as Holy Days of Obligation. Please invite your family, friends and neighbors to attend Mass with you. Mass is very important for all of us to attend and participate. We have a great system that I hope more and more people take advantage of; it is called PARISH GIVING (Electronic Funds Transfer) which allows you to simply transfer from your bank account to Saint Mary for your Sunday Offering. It does it for you automatically. If you are away on vacation or visiting at another parish or cannot attend Mass because of illness or another reason your Sunday offering remains at Saint Mary Parish (your church home). Go to our website and hit the tab "Parish Giving" and follow the easy prompts. You can always call Mary Beth or Sandi at our Parish Office Center for more help. If you have to miss Mass here at Saint Mary we ask that you please make up for the missed offertory week. Thanks so much for your generosity.

PARISH PATIO and PRAYER GARDEN: Behind the Parish Office Center you will see the beginning phase of Nick Bakey's Eagle Scout project. This particular project has 3 phases. Nick will soon

complete PHASE ONE. Nick Bakey thanks you for your support.

REGISTRATION FOR SAINT MARY SCHOOL (2 DIVISIONS): Saint Mary Catholic School is now taking new registrations for both divisions: Agnus Dei Academy (Preschool - 3 year old and 4 year old

program) and our Kindergarten to 8th Grade Division. Please call our school office for more details and for a guided tour with Suzette Moyer.

SAINT MARY BLOOD DRIVE: Monday, June 4 from 9AM until 7PM in Hedge Hall (Parish Hall). Did you sign up to give blood? A priceless gift.

Defying Gravity

by Joe Sikorra

This moving story shows how a family found joy

after their hopes and dreams were shattered by the rare,

fatal neurological illness of their two sons. Told by the

family’s father, a popular Catholic radio host and

marriage counselor, it recounts the way he and his wife

received the courage and the support they needed to give

their children abundant, fulfilling lives in spite of their

gradual decline. What initially seemed to be a tragedy for

Joe Sikorra’s family became a story of human triumph,

an outcome made possible by the compassion and mercy

of God. Their example can help those facing unexpected

losses and challenges to believe that by placing their trust

in Providence they too can overcome hardships with the

most powerful force on earth – God’s love.

We'd like to thank all of our sponsors, and those that generously donated to help make our 5th annual golf outing a huge success! This event was a perfect example of how we can come together to support the future of our school. Thank you to our amazing golf committee and volunteers that worked so hard making this a great event. Thank you especially to Brookside Country Club for taking such great care of us every year. Please support these local businesses since they have graciously given to us!
