Abstinencia - Todos los fieles que han alcanzado los 14 años de edad están obligados a abstenerse totalmente de comer carne todos los viernes de Cuaresma. Minusválidos, mujeres embarazadas y madres lactantes están exentos. El Ayuno se guarda el Miércoles de Ceniza y el Viernes Santo por todos los católicos que tienen entre la edad de 18 años y 59 años. Abstinence - All the faithful who have reached 14 years of age are required to abstain totally from meat on Ash Wednesday and on all Fridays of Lent.
