Liturgy

Eucharistic Adoration is designed to "acknowledge Christ's marvelous presence in the Sacrament and invites us to the spiritual union with Him that culminates in sacramental communion.” (Order for Solemn Exposition of the Holy Eucharist, number 7). The Most Holy Sacrament is kept in a Tabernacle (unless otherwise exposed) for the devotion of the faithful. "Could you not watch one hour with Me?" Jesus waits for us in the Blessed Sacrament. He waits for our little Acts of faith, adoration, love, thanksgiv-ing, repentance, reparation and charity that we can offer Him as we contemplate -- His Divine Majesty -- in the Blessed Sacrament. St. Alphonsus Liguori wrote: “Of all devotions, that of adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the greatest after the Sacraments, the one dearest to God and the one most helpful to us”. The Eucharist is a priceless treasure: By not only celebrating the Eucha-rist, but also by praying before It outside of Mass, we are enabled to make contact with the very wellsprings of Grace ..."

From The Finance Council The Finance Council has been tracking all of the major improvement projects being made to the Church and hall during the past year. Financial statements for the fiscal year, which runs from July 1- June 30, will be presented in the Church Bulletin when available in late August/early September. Your continued support of St. Rose has allowed the parish to improve and maintain our facilities. Major improvements being completed during this fiscal year include the new sound and video system for the Church and Hall, and the removal of the “popcorn” ceiling on the perimeter of the Church including retexturing and painting. A few items still needing attention are repair of the water damage on the area above the altar, as well as new lighting in the darker areas of the Church. We appreciate your support and look forward to additional improvements in the next fiscal year. These will potentially include repainting of the Church interior, new security cameras for the Church and School, and construction of the new rectory in the Parish house. Watch for more updates!

EN MEDIO En medio, de vez en cuando todos llegamos a encontrarnos ahí, algunas veces incómodamente. Como el dinero que se recibe y el dinero que se gasta, el salario y las facturas. En medio del cliente y el gerente, la cena y el chef: cualquier mesera honesta que está intentando ayudar a ambos. La teoría de en medio y en la práctica, ideal y realidad: todos, desde padres de familia hasta sacerdotes. ¡Pregúntales a los niños, o a los feligreses! Este domingo, entre la Ascensión y Pentecostés, nos recuerda que estamos entre la partida de Jesús y su glorioso regreso, a veces incómodo. Aunque Jesús lo promete en el Apocalipsis Regresaré pronto , el libro de los Hechos muestra a Esteban trágicamente llamado primero a la casa del Padre. Pero el Papa Francisco nos anima a no convertirnos en malvados , como si vivir el amor del Evangelio es imposible en el medio. El Evangelio de hoy muestra a Jesús orando por quienes están a punto de traicionarlo, negarlo y abandonarlo, sino también orando por aquellos quienes creen en mi por medio de su palabra . ¡Nosotros! Para que ellos , nosotros, puedan ser uno . .
