been named a “Military Friendly School®” by G.I. Jobs,

to civilian life.

Saint Rose afforded me a great learning experience and enabled me to effectively utilize my GIBill and the College's Yellow Ribbon Program to pursue college tuition free. Through cooperationbetween the College and the VA, I was able to not only obtain my undergraduate degree inbusiness, but now I am pursuing my MBA. I highly recommend that veterans maximize their GIBill at Saint Rose. Being “military friendly” is more than just a slogan to the College; they aretaking real steps to make sure vets are successful members of the community.

Transferring to Saint Rose has been the best decision that I could have made for my future! I have hadopportunities that I couldn’t imagine having anywhere else, such as being a staff writer and news editorfor our school newspaper, President of our Tau Sigma National Honor Society chapter, and participatingon the Executive Board of the College’s Student Alumni Association. I was also referred by faculty to takepart in a paid internship at WNYT NewsChannel 13, which prepared me for my position as an AssociateProducer/Assignment Editor with Time Warner Cable Capital Region.
