Introduction to PCS

PCS was first Registered in February 2013 and although a young Company, our Management

and staff have almost 150 years of combined experience spent in the Pump, Mechanical Seal

and Valve business, spread across all Industries Nationally and Internationally with many of

those years spent in the Oil, Gas & Process Markets.

PCS basic structure is briefly broken down as follows –

- Workshops in Durban and Johannesburg

- Sales Offices in Richards Bay, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Port Elizabeth, Johannesburg and

Cape Town which is also our Administration Center/Hub and a warehouse and small office in

Upington. As soon as the FLS/SASOL seal contract can be transferred to PCS we will also be

taking over the current FLS Secunda Office

Karin Dahn; Commercial Manager 30 Years International Management & Market Related Pump & Seal

Experience. Karin started her career in the Mechanical Seal Industry in

1986 with Burgmann Seals in their Johannesburg office .Karin worked

10 years for Burgmann including 18 months in their UK office as

Commercial Manager responsible for the UK & Offshore Platforms.

On returning to SA in 1996, Karin joined John Crane SA as the

Export Sales Office Manager looking after end user sales Africa

and intercompany sales for SA, ME & AP. Karin held this position for

10 years. In March of 2006 she joined Wartsila ME as Regional

VP ME responsible for Marine Propulsion, Seals, Bearings,

Pumps & Pump Seals. From June 2009 to Dec 2011 Karin was

employed by Flowserve Gulf FZE where her responsibilities were

Experiences. Therese spent more than 12 years with Burgmann

Seals/EBI from 1992, holding various positions culminating as the

Senior Logistics Consultant for the Service Centres and Workshop.

Prior to Joining PCS in January of this year Therese spent 10 years

working in the mining sector responsible for Product sales & Service

support into Africa and SA in various Sales and Management positions.

Dave has held various technical positions

including workshop Manager for Polyfin (formerly

AECI) Sasolburg, he spent many years with JC &

EBI as technical support for the refineries and

spent 4 years with the previous Flowserve

Distributor helping set up their (Flowserve) Seal

department. Dave was also responsible for the

design and manufacture of 53B systems some of

which have been working successfully at PetroSA

for more than 5 Years.

various Technical roles and in 2003 Sakkie joined

John Crane working at Synfuels with focus on

sales and reliability. In 2008 Sakkie joined

Flowserve as an Applications Technician and in

2019 due to structural changes Sakkie was

transferred to PCS but continuing in his same role.
