SAM Student Graduation Handbook 2016
Dear Graduates CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL! IT’S GRADUATION TIME AGAIN. The School of Accounting and Management/SAM Caribbean Limited is pleased to announce its annual Graduation Ceremony to be held at The Trinidad Hilton Ballroom on Saturday, 12th November 2016. Graduation is a highly anticipated event, both for you the graduate, as well as our team at SAM. Our past Graduation Ceremonies to date have been successful because of the cooperation of all graduates. In keeping with your high expectations, we have arranged many special surprises. All students who are eligible to graduate are invited. Eligibility is dependent upon the achievement of the following criteria:
• Successful completion of all exams, assignments and dissertation
• Completion of all outstanding payments and clearance for GATE funding
• Approval granted by the respective University to proceed to graduate
You will receive a phone call from one of our Grad team members confirming your information. All future updates will be sent to your email account, it is therefore very important to familiarize yourself with the information in this booklet and all updates. Due to the high capacity of phone calls, whilst simultaneously ensuring consistency, we kindly request your first choice of communication be via email to one of the under mentioned Graduation team members. There will be 2 (two) Graduation ceremonies hosted this year, please see schedule. Due to the limited time frame, deadline dates must be strictly adhered to. Additionally, seats are limited and distributed stringently on a first-come, first-served basis. Once tickets are sold out, this will supersede the official deadline date for ticket sales. Students missing these deadline dates or unable to obtain tickets will be placed in the next Graduating Class 2016. We have also been advised that results for a small group of students are due to be received the week before Graduation, and we have made arrangements to accommodate these students. This is indeed a very special day for you and we don’t want anyone to miss out. Please make every attempt to attend. As our promise to you, we are here to ensure that you have many wonderful memories after you leave us.
See you on Graduation day and again, congratulations to all, class of 2016!
Yours sincerely Tricia Pirali Grad Project Director
