Preliminary Autopsy Findings

I. Body previously autopsied – exam appears thorough

II. Blunt force injuries

A. Abrasions, contusions, lacerations to face.

B. Hemorrhagic scrotal sac, internally.

C. Numerous rib fractures with hemorrhage in intercostal muscles (resuscitation vs

trauma).

III. Alleged history of hanging

A. No evidence of furrow

B. No evidence of internal neck injury

IV. Scleral hemorrhages – may be due to blunt force trauma or hanging.

V. Possible subarachnoid hemorrhage

VI. Pending investigation, histology, and toxicology.
