Sampad is a dynamic development agency

for South Asian arts based in Birmingham, UK.

We promote the practice and appreciation of

the diverse art forms originating from India,

Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, as well

as British Asian and cross-cultural work.

From classical to contemporary forms, spanning

dance, music, theatre, literature and visual arts,

Sampad brings world class artists to the

West Midlands and beyond and provides an

international platform for local, emerging talent.

Above all, we strive to ensure high quality South

Asian arts remain accessible in theatres, concert

halls, schools and community centres across the

region and reach communities who otherwise

would not engage with the arts.

Sampad is magnificent, it’s doing a very good job for the community, promoting our art among the local people.

“DanceIntense achieves the very commendable feat of bringing together dancers, teachers and choreographers who share common concerns despite their international spread and the diversity of their current locations.

Sampad acts as a cultural broker and catalyst to bring

together the right people to make memorable events happen.

We bring new South Asian audiences into established arts

venues, connect artists from different artforms and cultural

backgrounds and make links from Birmingham to

South Asia and the South Asian

diaspora around the world.
