COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to develop students sense of awareness and responsibilities toward their country and to the world as a whole. This course covers the different literary texts from various regions of the Philippines. The literary texts serve as vehicles for understanding the artistic and cultural value of Philippine literature. This course also includes the study of literary genres as exemplified by the literary texts using the different critical approaches.
