The Annual Meeting
In 2015, Western Museums Association (WMA) celebrates its 80th Anniversary, and returns to San Jose, CA for its 2015 Annual Meeting on October 24-27! Much has changed in the “capital of Silicon Valley” since 1990—when WMA was last in San Jose—and the dynamic leaders that call the city home continue to have a global impact. As a center of technological innovation, the ideas originating from San Jose impact our lives and museums daily.
In that same spirit of invention and exploration, WMA’s Annual Meeting is known as a premier venue for those who work in the museum industry to gather, explore ideas, network and learn about new products and services. WMA is a nonprofit, membership organization dedicated to serving museums and individuals by providing vision, enrichment, intellectual challenge, and a forum for communication. The WMA is primarily comprised of members across the western states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and international members from British Columbia and the Pacific Islands.
Benefits of Sponsoring, Exhibiting, and Advertising
• Reach a concentrated group of diverse museum professionals
• Increased visibility among the Western Region’s cultural institutions
• Position your organization as a supporter and a leader in the industry
• Builds on existing relationships with decision-makers and fosters new relationships
• Ensures WMA remains a high quality forum dedicated to sharing cutting edge and emerging ideas – and accessible to all museum professionals.
