INTRODUCTION:
The purpose of the study is to have practical experience of working within the
market and organization, in the field of marketing and to have exposure to the important
management practices in the field of marketing. The main motto is A STUDY OF CONSUMER
BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS VARIOUS EDIBLE OIL. It includes detail consumer responses analysis,
by taking number of consumer.
The study of consumer behavior of various edible oil for the satisfaction and delightedness from
edible oil. This project will be beneficial to know the feedback of the consumer with the help of
providing better facilities and services to the customer.
The edible oil is used by everyone, in this project their behavior towards the demand, what
type of oil consumer prefers? Is checked out.
CONSUMER BEHAVIOR:
Consumer behavior is the study of how individuals make decision to purchase the edible oil. In
this consumer behavior certain question must have to studied as:
1. What product consumers buying?2. What makes them to buying?3. Why they buying the product?4. How often they buying the product?5. When they buying the product?
HYPOTHESIS:
1. Users are giving good response towards the branded edible oil.2. This project shows the difference in the loose oil and package oil.3. Price is key factor in influencing consumer buying behavior.4. Advertising also plays an important role in consumer behavior.

OBJECTIVE OF RESEARCH STUDY:
The study has following objectives:
To study the brand preference position in the market. To know the levels of brand awareness among the Consumers of edible oils. To know the factors influencing the purchase Decision for edible oil. To know the purchase and consumption pattern of consumers.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:
Research design:
To collect data needed to address the above mentioned objectives the
exploratory research design was used.
Exploratory research was design to describe something. It includes
surveys and facts finding enquiries of different kind. The research study is based
on collection of data and analysis to draw the conclusion.
Sampling Universe:
The first step in devolving any sample design is to clearly define the set
of objects, technically called the universe.
Sample universe includes users of edible oil.
Sample size:
Sample size will be 100 respondent
Data Collection:
Primary data:
Primary data are those, which are collected a fresh and for the first time.
Primary data was collected through questionnaires & Interview schedule.

Secondary data are those, which have already been collected by publication of
Governments, Periodicals of organization, newspaper, books, & internet etc.

LIMITATION OF THE STUDY:
The limitation of this study is that, sometimes the male or
female respondents may not give the proper and correct information regarding
the price and used brands of edible oils in their daily diets.
