FOUNDER Henry John Heinz

founded his first food company in

1869. he started selling

marinated horseradish in glass bottles, because he wanted his

customers to see the quality of his

product.

1876 – FIRST KETCHUP

It started selling in 1876.

tomatoes had the best quality so ketchup was better and cleaner.

1941 – ANOTHER PRODUCTS

Henry John Heinz added more new

products. For example, in England, there were

Heinz Baked Beans. It was the basic food in the second World War.

1948 – CLASSIC SHAPE

In 1948 was created today‘s form of the glass bottles Heinz.

Compared with the design of the 1890‘s bottle has a simmilar shape. It was changed only in details.

INTERESTING FACTS

Heinz Ketchup is made of only five components - sugar, salt, vinegar, spices and high quality tomatoes.

In one iconic Heinz glass bottle is about 10 tomatoes.

3 bottles of ketchup are sold every second.

Astronauts in the space ate Heinz ketchup.
