Parts and tools
Sandvik Mining and Construction recognises that all our breakers and
attachments are only ever as good as the parts and tools they use.
Which is why our genuine parts and tools utilize the best raw materials
and heat treatment characteristics to ensure optimum durability across a
broad range of industries, materials and applications.
These parts and tools are available through a highly experienced global
dealer network that is unparalleled within our industry and which
ensures that you get the right tool, in the right place, at the right time.
The sandvik tools offering comprises the chisel and moil point
tools that are suitable for most jobs.
In trenching, benching and demolition applications, the material is
broken by a combination of impact energy and a wedging effect that
forces the material to separate as the tool penetrates. The chisel is the
preferred choice among professionals in some trenching applications;
whereas the moil point is recommended as it causes less burring in the
tool retainer pin area.
Limestone chisel and pyramid tools are also suitable for trenching,
Benching and demolition. Limestone chisel increases production where
the penetration rate is high. Pyramid tool is particularly effective in
concrete.
Blunt tools and super blunt tools are suitable for secondary breaking
and boulder reduction applications. The tool breaks the material with
stress waves generated by the hammer, passing through the tool and into
the rock. The standard blunt tool provides an excellent combination of
productivity and resistance to wear. For additional wear resistance in
Particularly abrasive conditions, a super blunt tool may be specified.
Hard rock chisel is designed for primary breaking of hard rock;
Quarrying and trenching in hard, abrasive, fractured rock.
Asphalt cutting and compacting tools are designed for utility
Applications. Sandvik's asphalt cutting tool is available with both
parallel and transverse cutting edge directions.

BC cutter-crusher range
The Sandvik BC Cutter-Crusher Range
features three models all of which deliver
a class leading power to weight ratio.
BC504 and BC706 with their lightweight
design can be mounted on carriers from
2.5 tons up to 9 tons, and the BC2022 is
the number one choice for carriers
between 20 and 40 tons.
Featuring optimised tooth design and
wide jaw opening for better productivity,
the BC Cutter-Crusher features extremely
powerful jaws, long cutting blades,
backed by a hard facing for an all round
robust design.
360˚ power rotation (optional) allows
for easier positioning, whilst the centre
mounted cylinder provides constant
cutting force throughout the working
cycle. The long replaceable cutting
blades make short work out of cutting
metal.
The BC cutter-crusher models are an
efficient alternative to other demolition
methods and are ideally suited to
environmentally sensitive applications
where low vibration, noise and dust are of
concern.

BP pulverizer range
The Sandvik BP pulverizer range is ideally
suited to a wide range of secondary
demolition and recycling duties. The BP
range models are designed for fast and
effective material separation, a key aspect
of the recycling process.
The broad jaw design of the BP range
pulverizers coupled with their extra wide
jaw opening allows for large amounts
of material to be processed at a time
for maximum productivity. BP3042 is
equipped with a speed valve for higher
production.
Manufactured from wear resistant
steel and a extra hard facing for longer
working life, the BP range pulverizers
feature a protected centre mounted
cylinder that provides a high force level
throughout the working cycle.
Recycling applications
• Separating rebar from concrete.
• Materials segregation.
• Reduce size of blocks for further
processing.
• Sort and load material.

Sandvik breakers Booms
10
Breaker Booms
Sandvik's pedestal mounted breaker
booms enable the optimal positioning of
a breaker within a crushers feed, allow-
ing blockages and bridging of rock to be
broken and cleared quickly and efficiently.
Available in a wide range of sizes and
designs, Sandvik breaker booms can be
supplied as complete, perfectly matched
systems including the power pack, control
system and perfectly matched breaker.
Models range from flexible, lightweight
rota-booms to heavy-duty boom systems
with extended reach.
Compact series booms are used on
mobile crushing plants and impact
crushers. They feature a low-profile design
that maintains the crushers low
transportation height.
Light weight, multi-purpose Small series
booms are typically used in quarries,
together with primary crushers or mobile
crushers to clear blockages and bridging.
Medium series booms have been built
to take heavy loads in quarry and mining
applications. Typically installed to
enhance the productivity of stationary
crushers by feeding material to the
crushers and raking the hopper area.
Large series booms are specially
designed for the mining markets.
Applications may include gyratory
crushers in mines and quarries, or
grizzlies. Large booms also feature a
multi-fit pedestal, that makes replacing
existing, worn out boom systems more
convenient.
Mobile breaker systems are specially
designed for mobile underground grizzly
applications. They can easily be installed
on various carriers and make a winning
combination, once teamed up with a
Sandvik medium or large breaker and or
any other compatible Sandvik product
