PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Pfizer Inc. is in the process of transitioning to a shared services model with global &
regional presence to enable delivery of cost-effective HR service delivery. The setup
of a global shared services model necessitates the streamlining of processes andcreation of a global process model with localization only specific needs such as local
regulatory compliance. Pfizer Inc. has completed a 13-week assessment to support
the definition of scope based on specific criteria.
Based on the assessment, 33 countries have been identified for standardization and
are to be moved to a shared services model over the course of the next 3
years. The processes considered for standardization was identified based on a 13-
week assessment and it consists of HR Administration, Colleague DataManagement, Global Mobility, On-boarding, and Workforce Tracking (Analytics). It
was determined that Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent
Management, and Performance Management have been identified as out of scope
for this project.
