Relax before the big day and join us for the pre-race pasta buffet at Hemingway’s! Tickets may be purchased at the Expo for $6 per adult and $3 per child under 12.
Pre-race Meeting
(6-7 p.m.)
First-timer? No worries. A be-ginner tri-athlete meeting will be held on the pool deck of the Hampton Inn.
Registration, Race Packet Pickup &Vendor Expo
(3-8 p.m.)
If race slots are not full, on-site registration will be available in the Crystal Room of the Hamp-ton Inn. Athletes can pick up their race packets here. There will also be a Vendor Expo in the Seaside Room.
*Transition area will open at 5 a.m. and close at 7:15 a.m.
*Packet pickup will continue from 5:30-6:45 a.m. in the Crys-tal Room of the Hampton Inn.
*First wave begins at 7:30 a.m. with the eldest age group. Sub-sequent waves will occur in five-minute intervals.
*Post-race awards party will be held under the tent, behind the Hampton Inn. An Italian lunch is being generously provided by Carrabba’s Italian Grill. There will also be sandwiches from Subway.
*Post-race massages and sports care will be provided to tri-ath-letes by Select Physical Therapy near the transition area.
18-mile bike ride along the Gulf Coast. Bikers ride nine miles down Via De Luna to the National Seashore and nine miles back.
5K-run down Via de Luna into the scenic gulf-side neigh-borhoods, finishing at Casino Beach Road by The Dock.
600-meter swim in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Swimmers begin in five-minute waves depending on their age group. If conditions are not safe the swim will be moved to the Santa Rosa Sound.
